Batch would have got torched for pace.

Agree. But he plays on talls and smalls..

Actually to our defenders credit though the more I think of it, none of the Saints small forwards really got a hold on us tonight despite causing some occasional mischief.
We need some tinkering but the backline's not bad atm.

Did Saad get six kicks for the game? (Seven disposals.) Some people don't think much of Saad. He can play.

That disease Malaria got nine touches - all infectious.

Bachar was better than ok IMO.

Soft tonight. Went to ground far too easily. Did he have the wristbands on?
Bash does go to ground more than I would like but it has go nothing to do with being soft.

He has shown good courage a few times already this season.

Very important player for us

Sin, for once I disagree with you. It was softness last night.

And we're back in sync. :)

Not sure if we have the same definition of soft. For some reason houli loses his feet every now and again and also gets turned around sometimes. These are technical flaws in his game but when I hear soft I hear lacking courage and I don't believe he lacks courage.

He's not soft. I remember one shepperd he copped that I could hear from the top of the third level. It sounded like bones imploding. He was on the ground for about 3 seconds, then got up and chased again.

He did overrun the ball too many times coming out of defence, which is annoying, but it's not soft. He frequently jumps backwards into packs, and gets whacked.

Clearly struggles when the heat is turned up in matches. Looks a million dollars otherwise.
