You can write off the next month for bachar Ramadan begins!

I thought he got special clearance to skip Ramadan when it occurs during a football season? At least that's what I've heard. Haven't really followed the discussion.

Maybe Fatty Farmer should observe Ramadan.
the lossof weight might help him fit down the race and into his jumper

Because other clubs have figured us out. Much the same as they used to do with Gaspar and Kellaway, they leave our poorer kicks such as McGuane and Rance free when we're trying to bring the ball out.

100% right

Noticed also that when these players have a free kick/mark that the opposition run to cover possible handpass recipients rather than cover the mark.
Happy to allow them a few extra yards knowing that they will probably just bomb it to a contest.

Bachar stated in an article a few weeks ago that he was able to maintain his religious and football commitments. My understanding of Ramadan from an RFC point of view is that it relates to not being able to eat between sunrise and sunset.

Tell me, do you know the "meat packing district" well i want to come to NYC

Played another good game against the odds. The worse we play the better Houli has been this year.

Best game for over a month I think.

He's starting to improve his cowardess....I saw him (kind of) put his body on the line in a marking contest, 10 weeks ago I doubt he would've gone for the mark....

Houli is fantastic. He has earned his place. His willingness to drive us forward and help a team-mate and actually think during a game should be shown to some of our lazier, more veteran players.

Houli is honest. Doesn't cheat. I am happy with his year. Pats on the back to Houli.

It takes more than 20 rounds to be Richmondised.

Give it time and it'll happen.

Yeah there were a few little signs today, doesn't come naturally for him yet though. Footskills pristine as usual. In a strong side he could develop into a serious player.

Harsh word cowardness.....just because the guy has a natural fear of contest which is a normal instinct for 60-70 per cent of us.

The fact he is conqurering that ear as shown by one example in the square yesterday where he threw himself in the path of the pack to get the ball. That was courage.

Like his spirit and skills.

There was no kind of about it . He went back with the flight of the ball and knew that there were players coming . Didn't flinch , took the mark and got a clip behind the ears for his trouble .
It was not that much different to what Hannebery was lauded for in the Essendon game . Sellwood could easily have cleaned him up .

I concur he was very good against the odds yesterday. If we could get him forward of centre he would be an offensive weapon. He Newy and Lids bombing from 60m would be difficult to contain.
