If not soft, he has... thoughts before backing into a contest. It's not a natural thing and a parameter he has to work within. Like Ellis, not a fully rounded player and like Ellis, valued for what he does do well.

Every player on our list from Dusty down could be taken to task for a shortcoming in their game if that's what we're doing.

Yes you are right to point that out and as this is the Bachar thread then this is the right place to point out Bachar's shortcomings.

If you feel Dusty has some issues that need pointing out then the Dusty thread is the place to do it.

99% of this thread is shameful.
I’ll just enjoy watching Bashar quietly.
BTW he’s a great player, great clubman and great human. Love and respected by all and sundry at the club.

Is it shameful to point out that a player has faults?

If the posts degenerate into personal abuse towards Bachar that is different but most of the posts are directed at his shortcomings.

So claiming that 99% of this thread is shameful is a lie.

So which parts of his shortcomings are true? The ones perpetuated by nuffies on this site?
The truth lies in his automatic selection every week and the opinions of his coaches and peers.
This post is littered with dribble and whipping boy persecution that doesn’t seem to apply to many others. There are some on here who still want to debate his effort in the 2017 G.F. for gods sake.
Every single game he plays well in is debated and dissected attempting to find fault and the ones he doesn’t play well in get highlighted and used as evidence that he’s useless.
I repeat shameful.
You can play around with % all you want.

Hysterical nonsense. The same could be said about George, butler, Ellis, Menadue........their threads are littered with detractors. Houli has very good games and very poor games. His weakness at the contest was identified by mark Williams and has been worked on by bachar. He’s better than he was under pressure but falls into old habits at times.

His good outweighs his bad, and he is not the lone ranger in being poor under pressure. That’s what separates the good from the great.

Mark Choco Williams our own assistant coach for a period of time is on record saying Bachar shirks contests. Let’s see u argue that point away

Is that the same Mark Choco Williams that the board identified was a negative influence on the club and playing list and gave him the ass? You’re basing your argument for the affirmative on him?
Go ask a champion like Alex Rance what he thinks of Choco’s opinion after he witnessed him at a VFL game hurling abuse at our players. Actually sounds like something you’d do!
Thankfully he’s now coaching amateurs where he belongs.

And there lies the problem we have here. The site is full of detractors. Posters who spend so much time with relentless detraction.
Lucky you’re not one of them although in reverse I have noticed you getting quite hysterical when people dare to logically pontificate what may have caused Dusty’s momentary drop in form.

When things aren’t great it’s natural to be negative.

The beauty of our injury crisis is the discovery of young talent. We get enough senior players back and we can still win the lot this year.

I doubted dusty was injured like many claimed. He was just a little out of form and sat on heavily by opponents.

You got a link to this “on the record” comment?

Better win/loss record than SuperCoach

Our Board is full of do gooder tossers with more interest in minorities than the club. I especially like the decision of Peggy Sue to change our 100 year constitution to ensure only their mates could join

Peggy and Benny more interested in supporting minorities than the club? You have lost the plot. We are the biggest, most successful club in the country atm, the envy of all other clubs and you're not happy because it should all be about bagging coaches and players and getting p!ssed when we lose a couple of games? I will never forget what this great board has done for the club and its supporters and am proud to be a supporter which was hard to say 7 years ago.
And as far as only bringing their mates on board, you would prefer the days when Alan Bond and Clinton Casey were brought in based on democratic elections?

In the words of Choco Williams " King Kong, you were wrong "

No actually you are wrong! Bagging a Premiership coach with a better win/loss record than Hardwick.

If Williams belongs in the amateurs then where does SuperCoach belong?

Choco is not actually a Richmond Premiership coach last time I looked so I don’t give a toss.
Do you follow Port?
Mate I think the paint is starting to dry in your corner. Better stop painting.
