Bachar Houli - بشار حولي,

Many giving Houli the 3. Maybe you guys are wrong. You really believe Houli was useless zips?

He wasn't our best martin stack baker the rest saved their worse game for last night

Fluffed a couple of possessions as did most of our players all night long. Easily in our best three or four players again last night. Bash, Dusty n Stacka could have used a hand from a heap of team mates last night, so many mediocre performances.
Young Stacka just keeps amazing me, yes he was a highly talented n rated junior with a few issues. This kid just gets out there week after week n plays the game like he's got a couple of hundred games under the belt, rock solid skills, composure, effort n understanding of the game no matter what is going on around him.

The hit he copped in the first qtr shock him up but overall he was useless.

Only caught the end of a radio interview. Said he only had one eye for most of the game, something else about a sore shoulder and other injuries. Think he said or implied that Cunnington punched him and that he was definitely targeted.

no MRO here?

Was given a decent whack to the midriff just after he disposed of the ball at one stage, I think it was Cunningham.

Cunnington destroyed us. We’ve got no one really available to run with a player like him but no one tried to curb his influence. I would have put Prestia on him for a run with role. Has done it before with good affect although robbing us of a ball winner

Jack Graham - the (almost) forgotten man. Can’t wait to see him back

If he'd been in yellow and blacked he would have been called for holding the ball a dozen times, plus that blatant throw just before half time.

Didnt give us any run out the back. It was all short kicks and stop start all night

I think there's a reason for that. I saw him stream out of the backline at one point and kick long to . . . 3 North players. There was no-one forward of him to kick to, when that's the case you don't just kick it forward because it comes straight back, waste of effort.

Haven't heard anything said in the media about that hit from Cunnington, I saw the impact on Bachar, figure the scum on the MRP will do nothing despite Bachar having to be helped off the ground. Typical.

Bash got pounded a couple of times as did Stacka. Got a feeling most of the side got the shock of their lives at how hard #lolnorf came out n played all night. We had no answer to the work rate n hardness that they brought to the game n apart from the couple of quick clearances down Dusty's throat in the second, barely looked to be in the game after qtr time.

But Dave, Houli gets to add another 55 metres to his metres gained stat.

They played their grand final on Friday - we played timid and slow.

I saw that hit on Bash - it was deliberate and put Houli on his knees for several minutes - no free (I don’t think) no comment, couldn’t believe it - even the norf supporter next to me thought it was strange nothing came of it.

Since he came back from injury a few weeks ago he has been really running on top of the ground and having a lot of energy. It is a real credit to him. Hopefully he can keep it going for the rest of the season and finish high up in the B & F. I wish we had at least another 2 or 3 other players who can run and spread as well as what Bachar does.

Unfortunately we can only play one loose man in defence, it is easy to run and spread when you don't have an opponent for most of the match.

The disappointing issue with Bachar on Friday night was of all the 38 possessions I can't remember one that hurt North Melbourne on the night.

Dusty on the other hand collected only 21 under far greater pressure but at least 5 or 6 of his possessions had real hurt factor on North.

Can't blame Houli.

Our players couldn't get loose or lead effectively all night.

Yeh, he just pumped it long to an outnumber most of the night. But it was a poor night all round, at least he kept running.

this is a great myth the haters like to spread. it might look like Houli does not have an opponent because he runs hard when we have the ball, and is prepared to back his judgement when we dont.
he was tagged for most of the 2nd half against the bummers and still picked up 15+kicks in the half.
