Bachar Houli - بشار حولي,

should be more love.

looked to be playing high-ish, sometimes on a wing.

serious player and a serious BF chance if he maintains the passion. gun.

Definitely b.o.g. by the sheer ground he covered and kept being an option.

His kicking was a bit untidy but the two 25 mt handballs were awesome.

Watching on tv I thought he butchered the ball by foot.
Went at 80% total disposal efficiency according to the Herald Sun.

His Kicking would have been 60% his hand balls 100%.

Good point yandb.
19 kicks and 16 handballs.

80% total disposal efficiency could mean he missed 7 targets by foot out of the 19 he had (assuming 100% efficiency by hand).

Was often not under pressure, kicks looked great off his boot like most lefties .....maybe he should just kick long to a contest?

Immaculate preparation. Looked like a young colt. Blistering 1st half burning much younger blokes. Kudos Bachar.

Unlikely he would have hit 16 out of 16 handballs. He does often kick long, that's why he gained 775 metres, run, carry, kick long. I thought overall he disposed quite well. Was easily our best imo.

Bachar just did what Bachar does the last few years, I personally didnt notice his 'missed kicks' any more than any other players

Grimes kick across goal was the shocker that stands out in my mind

Bachar has looked back to his best based on the 2 games so far I've seen this year.

Yes.

Usually a side will improve through the growth of their juniors but it looks like we're also going to get growth this year out of Bachar and Prestia, and maybe Dusty too. That's exciting.

That is something to be watched. For the the right reasons.

Neither did most people. But when you watch a player and expecting them to make mistakes, you see them even when they’re not there.
