Bachar Houli - بشار حولي,

Good game from The Bash. Starting to get into the rhythm.

Goes deep for the ball and lets it out compared to others in our team who just keep it in and get caught.

Even though we got smashed, bachar and grigg have definitely added. They win the ball and bachar uses it well.

But an obvious errror when he looked up instead of keeping his eye on it cost us a goal, yet he rebounds well and switches to shorter options in board. His kicking has always been good, but his decision making was excellent last night.

Was good tonight but he's in the team because he can kick, he hand passed off a bit too often for mine

Played well tonight. The first 4 games I thought he was quite timid but he was more willing to get involved and get his hands dirty tonight.

Agree, he was good tonight against mediocre opposition - keep stepping up Bachar................

A lazy 30 disposals from Bachar tonight.

I thought he and Grigg were superb especially early on.

His best game so far, seems to have the confidence in our game plan now.

I love having the ball in his hands, although I think he`s a bit like Lids in that he needs to use to use his beautiful kicking skills more instead of handballing to the likes of Rance.

Had a few "WTF?!" moments when he handpassed it off to players that are worse kicks than him (Rance, Nahas, to name a couple) and who weren't in any better position than him. This resulted in a few turnovers.

Thought he was fairly ordinary to be honest. Clean in the clear, racks 'em up but still looked soft in the contests and panicky under pressure. Was lucky to get away with most of his dodgier disposals against mediocre opposition. Still looks like a stunned mullet at times. Unlike McMuffin though, at least he vaguely attempts to have a go and tries to look busy.

Good to see him getting involved in a lot of our plays, tried hard to nulify boomer just needs to eliminate those floating passes and hand balling to teamates under the hammer.

thought he was a bit too selfless and team-oriented at time (not that being a team player is a bad thing) but he should really trust his own skills a bit more and take them on. like others have said he at times handpassed to players with inferior skills and worse positions rather than using his own raking left foot.

i remember one passage of play in the 2ne quarter where he was in the forwardline, about 40 out almost straight in front when the ball somehow popped into his lap in the clear. now given his kicking skills, shoudl have just tried to drill it, instead he handpassed forward to jack who then handpassed to king for the goal.

now don't get me wrong, great result nevertheless but that was probably one instance where he could have taken the responsibility and tried to goal himself.

good game though bachar, keep it up.
