Phantom said:Rance's improvement is exceptional.
Imagine if the footy committee had done what many PRE'ers had posted last year and chopped him.
Well, wouldn't that have been a shame.
Shows, you have to give tall defenders time.
Phar Ace said:But I don't think it is time to say he has arrived either Phanto - as mentioned earlier, let's see how opposition clubs try to exploit him first. If Rance is this impactive at the end of 2012 - I think we can all make that call you mentioned above.
Phantom said:Like as in the Browne thread, for Rance to be doing what he is doing at 21yo is incredible.
Especially last night against one of the AFL's great all-time forwards.

Kids a 21 year old twenty or thirty gamer holding down the key back slot. There's not a real lot of experienced key sized support for him at the moment and he's standing up bloody well.
Tigerflag2008 said:Disposal has also improved remarkably. Still scope for improvement but to compare him to mcguane now is laughable.

I think he played the whole game at CHB yesty didn't he ?
Tigersnake I was at the game last night . At times Brown was 15-20 metres from me . He was moving fine .tigersnake said:have to disagree. The brown of old is gone. Was def not moving fine. Straight line player only now, dunno how long he can get away with that. At the use by date for a gun collision chf in a side that has played a lot of finals
Punxsutawney Phil said:I agree with Pharacio about the worry with his clumsiness. He is a guy who can undo a great night's work with a couple of silly free kicks, turnovers, or general mistakes. Still, he has certainly improved and was very good last night.

Phar Ace said:To be fair I think you both alluding to similar things - just said differently. Don't think Brown took a contested mark did he - most were out in front as I recall.
Anyone know if the game is going to be replayed on 10 / One at all this week - left strict instructions at home to record it Really hard to get good help these days ;D
