The format was OK, but a lot of laughing across one another, making it a bit hard to hear at times.

Liked the snake method of player choosing. I think Jack's team is the best balanced.

Will be interesting to watch I suppose on the 22nd.

Jack was in form last night, after Eddie Betts selected May he said he'll be able to play on the likes of Riewoldt and Hawkins. As quick as a flash Jack said "i kicked 10 on him last year"

Onya Jack you brought the house down :clap :clap :clap :clap

Yeah the draft was pretty funny. Jack was the standout - said he was gonna pick Higgins with his last pick but doesn't want to spend any more time wth him. Will be interesting seeing Rance play on Jack.

This game Suits players like Bulter. How could they miss the most creative road runner?

Agree, though i'm not sure he's back in full training.

Anyone reckon the AFL will adopt this style of recruiting?

Think there was only about 100 players nominated for this circus, anyone with a prior niggle or off season surgery wouldn't be available.

Hey guys, got myself one of those new AFLX jumpers.
Does anyone which team this one is?

Steven May...allegedly...did a hammy and can't player in AFLXXXXXXXXXXX.......geez what an exciting comp this is...

A media release today saying that players won't be wearing team attire on turning up to the match venue. They're being encouraged (NBA style), to dress according to "expressing their personality & individuality". So we'll have a red carpet style, lame fashion show of the player's arrival (presumably televised with players being interviewed on arrival).

*smile*ing hell, this gets more absurdly ridiculous by the day.

If you need to navel gaze to the nth degree, to come up with ridiculous side shows, to keep the punters engaged in what you're offering. I think it tells you that what you're selling is utter sh!t and you should disband it.

I'd love to see someone like Rob Sitch and his mates make a parody of AFLX (or indeed a parody show of the inner workings of the AFL itself) along the lines of his Utopia show. He'd never be struggling for material.
