When we lost to North and the umps were sh1t, coach Ferg did not do a press conference.
Yesterday the discrepancy was even worse and again, no press conference.

I generally dislike sooky people Merv , however I’d really like the club to ask questions about this one, yesterdays game maybe a bit of anomaly, however 2 frees in 3/4s of footy and 14 to the other team is way to lop sided , it’s either very inconsistent “ poor” umpiring or something, dare I say suspicious.
I used to think us supporters were just been like every club , whinging about the rough end of the grater re umpiring decisions , however it’s become fact for whatever reason that we do get a poor run on the 50/50s , we need to speak up on this , yesterday cost us a top 4 spot most likley , in saying that we were poor , however the umpiring definitely swung the momentum numerous times
We have different players in the men’s footy now, different coaches, men and women - and we consistently get far less free kicks, always. I haven’t gone back and checked the women’s stats this year, I’m too scared to.
They used to say it was because we played rough tough footy in the men’s when we were winning - well that’s been debunked.
The only thing that is constant is the Richmond name and colours
Dreamtime v. the Lady Bombers in Darwin this week, could get really ugly.
I can't find numbers for the AFLW except for single games, do you know anywhere to find that?
Any idea how we compare to other teams?

I noticed that also, no presser after those losses, so i rang and emailed the club to find out why? I found it very puzzling but interesting that it was after losses.
I have had no reply from the club's media department yet. Apparently flat out this week with Dreamtime commitments.

Have had a very settled team this year and last month, yet unable to get job done against Melbs and Bombers, both fighting for 8 place, fell in against Cats and could not pinch one against Roos or Hawks.
The 1 point loss to west coast and essendon draw were the killers.
Question marks over Ferg now, not sure he is the man. They should be peaking and playing much more cohesive and connected footy, he has been there a while.
I have liked his Pressers and his manner but this year is a fail barring something soecial in finals.
A tad slow through the middle and yeah, as others have said the game has gone past the Mick Nolans in the mens, and now the womens

The skill level of women's football has improved a lot, and we have not improved as much. We desperately need to get more players who handle the ball cleanly and pass accurately, both by foot and by hand. The pressure game can make up for some of this but won't get us to the top. I don't think they are that far off top 4 but there are clear areas of improvement to bridge the gap. Just hope we can make the improvements needed.
Then again, the men's team could do with a lot of skill improvement too.
