The certainties that are North, GWS, Hawthorn, Sydney and West Coast give you a nice little multiplier factor of 1.72. Multi them with the Dees and you get $4.82 head to head.

Not a big better, but went for a couple of multis this weekend.

1 was a 4 leg multi, Hawks, West Coast and GWS to win by 25+ and Sydney at the line (22.5 points), paying $4.14. Hawks had better not blow this lead, leading by 38 at this point.

Other is a 3 leg multi I bought a few days ago before Sydney''s line came in a little. So Sydney at the line (28.5), West Coast on the line (40.5) and the Lions / Pies to score less than 200 points. Paying $5.86.

Any good?

I'm not a massive fan of the line, poshman. Not to say I don't occasionally have a dip. Your first bet looks ok but I'd be worried about the last two legs of your second.

Haha, yep. Luckily I only had a little side bet with the multi, main bet on the Dees still alive.

Good stuff. Failed multis from a $1.10 going down are surprisingly common.

Yep, you only need to look at the percentage of the market they frame when a team is under $1.10 or so.

Big difference to when teams are comparatively even.

Whilst multi betting can be fun here is further info on why multi betting is only to be used for a bit of fun.

About time this was rejuvenated. Even if for Toothless.

If anyone has a spare dime or thousand unload it now on Christian Petracca for the Rising Star.

Leysy has unloaded everything at $21

$17 available in some shops. Will be half that on Monday.

You were all told.

Reckon hopper has him covered... Was so dominant... People will say oh it was only one game, they're the people that get left behind cos in a month he will be the unbackable favourite, take the $11 now with everything you can.

I reckon Bryce Gibbs should have 10 Brownlow votes from his last 4 games, i've backed him at $251, happy days if he gets up.

Giants into $6.60 for the flag now, and likely $6 after they finish off the Dogs. Given they're away to the Crows and Cats in the next fortnight, might think about laying a bit off. Then again, win those two and they're 4s.

Hmmm...Leysy's inclined to hold Spooker.

As indeed we will with Petracca. $4 outright favourite now.

Cmon son. Monster windfall in the offing here.

Good luck to you man. But ive backed for final 8 and top 4 and GF and flags a long way out, and the odds are *smile*. actually *smile*.

You can make better dough compounding your interest on form teams and hoping off judiciously.

Best bet i can see at the moment is Tigers H2h over Roos @ $3.

then have 20% of your winnings on Dusty for Brownlow at $51, fully franked

Did hold. They're out to $7.60 now. If they lose in Geelong next week they might slip back towards double figures and I'll have a bit more.

Who have you backed for final 8 and top 4 and GF and flags a long way out? Us or the Giants?

He's paying $23 now, 34 possessions and 2 goals against the cats would have to earn him a vote or two, i hope.

Last 2 years, backed tigers for top 4, gf and flags very early on. Obviously did my dough, but more than covered it during the winning streaks that lead to elim finals.

As an example of the *smile* value, tigers currently paying $11 to make the 8. a lot has to go right for that to happen.

al ot less has to go right to collect the $3 to beat north tomo night, and then youve got 12 weeks to compound. you only have to go all up on another similar game to get your 10-1.

so you can collect on 2 wins, the same as on 8 wins (to make the 8 from here)

It makes no mathematical sense to take the crap odds a long way out. Unless you barracked for Leister City.

a fool and his money easy, parted last night.

however, GWS at $3 over the old cats this arv certainly provides better value than for them to win a flag at 11/2

If its dry, i reckon GWS by over 39.5 @ $11 is the bet of the year.

It ain't dry. Melbourne looks like Dickensian London this morning. I imagine Geelong is even foggier/wetter.
