Didn't go with the Geelong/Adelaide double thank god, I would have seriously thought of kicking the tv in if I did.
Instead had total scores of both teams under 150 points. Had that won 10 minutes into the third quarter, probably the easiest money I've ever made, and at handsome odds of 3.25.

Will bet on Adelaide tomorrow night, not sure what to do though.

Nice work. Didn't even have to raise the pulse. Maybe a similar bet in the Crows game?

I had a quarter quad JB, was in it at half time, but nowhere near it after that. At half time the bet of 150 points or less would have been a good bet, but the crows went nuts after that.

Really liked the Crows. Had a fair lash but only straight out. Should have taken some overs margins. Too many people prepared to throw out a season's form based on one win by Port against a dud outfit like the Kangas.

I took the crows unders. Not even close. :(

Whats that by port ?200 point turnaround in 6 days.Pathetic.

Not properly. I have no icon to check them but have checked the box that makes an email be sent at the same time as a PM so I'm at least alerted to receiving one.

I have the latest scorebaord, I just need Tiggy's update.

The 2 teams that I think will win on the weekend are StKilda and Adelaide.
With all the talk of the Saints injuries, there is talk of Syndey winning. I don't think the Swans will get close to Stkilda, the saints have too much class all over the field. if Baker gets Davis, he'll find it hard to score. For mine the Saints will win by over 39 and a half points.

I think Adelaide match the Coasters in the midfield and I think they have a more potent forward line, although this match will be close with Adelaide winning by less than 39 and a half points. So I'll have the saints over 39 and Adelaide under 39 which is paying $7.50.

Other bets I may do are Saints/Adelaide double = $2.70

Saints by over 15.5 points = $1.53

And Saints ahead at halftime/fulltime $1.60

May check to see if there is a highest individual goalscorer as well and put money on Milne.

Any thoughts?

Good thinking ML,

Leysy's not sure about the Saints- Swans match, Think St Kilda will prob by much but really cant see them blowing the Swans away, no bet game for me.

However it is a different story in the WC- adelaide match, I think the crows are good things.
They are in better form, they rolled WC over there not 3 weeks ago, & above all I really really cant see how the eagles can kick a winning score, esp without that little germ Matera playing.

after getting burnt last week taking Adelaide unders, Leysy will not make the same mistake again & will just a one decent straight out bet on Adelaide straight out, currently an unbelievable $2.28 on betfair

good luck

Not sure about the saints swans game. Like most think that the saints will win but it's hard trying to find some value in the game. May have to have a crack at the quarter quad. Or perhaps Saints 60 " on the billy goat for some interest.

Agree with Leysy re Crows-Coasters. Should be an even money game or even crows favourite. For me, I have both teams to win the flag so will have some interest on Grand Final day regardless but have the Coasters going for more. So a no bet game for me with a barracking slant to the coasters.

Saints easy.Sydney buggered after a ding dong struggle and too much travelling.Saints to win the flag.

West Coast to squeak home. Not enough fire power down forward to take home the big one next week.Suspect at the 'G

oh ..........almost forgot.Fevola to Richmond,Hay to Freo or North,Polak to North,Grant to Carlton/Hawthorn,Bartel to collingwood.Witnall to stay.Lappin to go,maybe to Essendon

Lets see how many I get right. ;D

Agree with the sentiments of Lazy and Land-ahoy!

Saints 39+ Crows 39 & under only due to Perth factor.

Both games seem obvious to me,but this is finals footy.

Have a stab at the contract terms. How much are the blues still going to pay. Is that Shannon Grant? All Aust wasn't he. Can't think of too many all aust players changing clubs immediately after. Heard Lappin this morning on SEN. He's kidding himself at his age asking for 3 years. Bloody Managers.

The problem with LAppin and Grant is they both have that shyster Joseph representing them. He's as dodgy as they come and believes in contract negotiations via the media.Richmond would be well advised to steer clear of any player represented by him.

Lappin is going to struggle to get a 3 year contract but i could see an Essendon(for eg.) coughing up for 3*300k.I suspect Sheedy is going to get a franchise type to Essendon this period, his contract relies on finals appearances apparantly.Might even be Fatnall rather than Skinny.Doubt it's Crawford(I reckon the thats a smokescreen to get the Swans to pay more for him(the plot thickens) >:D

Grant is a tricky one.No way he'll get 600k at the Roos. He'll be lucky to get 1/2 that.I reckon his negotiations may break down and some will snag him early in the PSD for pretty big bucks but very little to the Roos.

Similar situation with Bartel. If geelong re-sign him then possibly Grant to the Pies via PSD(they look keen to paybig bucks for almost anyone(bar Fev because the have Fev jnr-Tarrant)

Roos are very keen on Polak and or Hay,possible 3 way Freo,Hawks and North with Grant perhaps.

Fev is contracted so we(or any other club) will have to give Carlton something pretty decent.Thats mitigated by the fact that he's on huge money(we re probably one of the few who could squeeze him easily into the salary cap.Myabe outr reasonably low PSD pick will help with negotiations.I reckon he's worth a fair bit. Most on PRE don't seem to agree, can't be bothered arguing with them.

Gotta love the trade period :D.

See Fiora's in for the Aints, it will be far too hot for him tonight.

What's the verdict if its wet tonight boys,

Could really make the game a 50/50 match IMO, will def suit the swans style of play.

On Fevola, if you said at the start of the season that he'd be available for whats being touted, you'd have fallen over backwards. IMO he's a risk worth taking but like evo cant be bothered arguing the point all day.

I'm putting big bucks on the Saints tonight Leysey.Rain hail or shine. There time has come.Just can't decide which bet.

Just got emailed a Brownlow "leak". Can't vouch for the source.

Has Cousins and Kirk tied on 27 votes, B. Harvey 24.

Has a brownlow leak ever been on the mark, geez i cant ever think of one.

Saints too short for my dough H-evo.

As mentioned though I will be puttin my you know whats on the line with the crows tomorrow....

On the brownlow, Leysy is real keen on Brent Harvey this year, reckon he is WAY over the odds.

He's been trimmed in a bit lately but 60's have been readily available until the last week, A mate of mine reckons he's got no hope of beating West,........I dont think so & I've near done a full thesis on my reasoning behind it.

I'll post it on here when ive got time if anyone wants to read my drivel
