Only if the site is Australian I think JB. Try partypoker.com, it's alot better anyway.

hey by the way Patsy.Do you play poker online.i remember you mentioned it once.

I've been for the last few months.Bloody addictive.I'm playing about 4 or 5 hours /day at the moment. :-[

evo is there any problem playing poker on line while residing in Aust.  Centrebet recently opened poker rooms but I had trouble accessing them.  When I emailed my query they reponded that I couldn't access the site because my domain was an Australian registered address.
nope.no problem

i think most are domicilled in the carribean.

centrebet is an Australian company.

interesting bout the Poker there Evo, JB & Disco.

my best mate whom I lived with in Perth works at burswood & plays a lot on the net. I understand Manila & Texas hold-em well but just havent got the balls to have a go on-line.

He used to have some pretty big card nights with his casino crew round our place & I used to join in for a game. He reckons a lot of them lads have since left the Cas & have taken it up full-time. Hugely growing"sport" now.

anyways sounds like the PRE crew'd have enough numbers for a nice little tournament, maybe in Cass's Shed :hihi

leysy, partypoker and ultimatebet both have 'free' games where you onlyplay for pretend money. A good way of getting your feet wet before having a real go.

Agreed about it being growth sport. 2 years ago you'd be lucky to get 2 hours a year on pay tv, now every sport channel, and others, have it on constantly.

sounds good disco, i'll try those free games first. Looks easy on tv when you can see their hands! I reckon you'd be more gutsy too with the pretend money.

For the real poker, what sort of cash do you need to start?

It's totally up to you jb. They have games from 1c/2c blinds and limits up to $100/$200 no limit. Just set an amount as your 'bank', and play at a level that's between 1/50th and 1/100th of that.

cheers there Longford Tiger, might just have a wee go tonight, it looks like you could have nice go for a minimal outlay as well.

As Patsy said you can play free games.I still only play low entry price tournment games. There's 2000 people in them so the top prizes are quite good.Playing in one as we speak.

Sorry guys.No tennis tips today he was too busy.

to give you an idea of the size of the 'sport' there's currently 38000 people playing on Party Poker alone and its the middle of the night in the states.

Stkilda for over 39 and a half @ $2.90. Not bad.

Yep, I'm going to take a piece of that and have another crack at the quarter quad, similar to last week's disappointment.

1.Season is on the line and in past years they've manged to dig deep.
2.I heard that alot of players have bet their end of season trip money on winning tonight.
And will it make any difference anyway?
Well I willing to bet that it'll be closer than originally thought. In fact I'm so sure I've put money on it. ;D

Saints @ the line. Money for Jam.

Id be more inclined to back C'word into Saints than to go near Essendon.
They truly are the Saints bitches.(like us :'()

I was pretty keen on the pies earlier in the week, Leysy's not so sure now.

might just have a little double on the pies unders into Saints line @$6.30
