One thing I will say his got the team believing we haven't seen a tigers game with guts and determination for years like that.

Just listened to him speak on SEN. He’s so impressive. I reckon we are in good hands with this bloke.

Caught the last bit of it.
Meatball hurt his other hammy.
Not the practice match one.
Regulation time out.
With the 10 day break to next match may only miss 2.
The Lynch Mob pulled up extremely well and will move to approx. 90 percent game time next match.
Should have played around 80 percent yesterday but stayed on for one extra rotation than they had planned for.
Some good news out of the match.

Balta also pulled up well. Gibbo already set his 2025 plans (our next skipper IMO)

I’m definitely not a Miller fan but he has been very good this year. Perhaps the penny has finally dropped. He’s playing with skill and aggression and using it very well.
Miller should be today’s Benny Gale. I hope he reaches his ceiling, we need some of our lesser lights to improve.

Good interview. Very honest and real. Sounds like he’s growing into the head coach role. As members, we can feel comfortable in who’s leading us.
As I’ve said before, don’t know whether he’ll be a successful coach or not, but I do like listening to him. As you said, very honest and real, and no ego, which is rare for a head coach.

Let’s see how long it lasts.
Have to win a few games to keep the spirits up.
If we lose out next 3 things will start to get tough.

Not sure if I can blame yze...
But...
When curnow went back as spare man late in the game, broad should have stayed back, and balta should have followed him forward...
Who knows what could have happened.

Yze is shaping to be a very good coach, but we are coming off a dynasty with not many high draft picks, a young group most of who were low picks and premiership heroes retiring and/or beyond their best.

He has to be given a lot of time, as in more than 5 years, to build and develop our next team of contenders and hopefully flag winners.

I reckon he will be given the time he requires. He has already shown his willingness to make strong calls and also move the magnets around. If we are 0-5 like many are predicting, I think we will see a fairly rapid transition into getting games Into the kids etc

It's a long season. Usually early losses prove to be fatal when scrambling to find wins in August to make finals. But this year already feels different. The courageous loss on Thursday indicates to me there is significant buy in from the players - old and new. We could lose the first five and then surprise everyone as the season clicks into place. The 1st half against GC was an abberation. Yze is proving to be a good coach and we have a list capable of disrupting the status quo. Season 2024 is definitely alive.

Hope u r right, Harry.
Beavis went 9 losses in a row to start his coaching career.
Would be nice for Ooze to comfortably beat that in game 3.
I think we play the Coasters in Rd 6. If we lose that the sky is definitely falling, although it is over there, so who knows?
