One thing that would pump up the kids is that they now know they are on equal footing with the premiership players with the new coach. No past bias.It takes some balls to do that. Considering there are still a fair few players from that era.

Nah just put em in the sock drawer.Does Dusty need to throw away his 3 Norm Smiths just in case he gets complacent?
Also glad to hear we've been "training the house down".
The 18 houses must get pretty worn down with the annual beatings they take. Also glad to hear we've been "training the house down".
Agree, I've been incredibly impressed with Yze. I really feel as though we have got the right coach. The list needs to improve, but if Yze is the right guy we should be OK - its just going to take time. I reckon its similar to the start of the Hardwick era, however we are going to need some A graders that are not currently on the list - to have a similar upward trajectory.I was really impressed with his post match presser.
Clear, articulate, constructively positive.
His selection of Ryan was unforgivable.First game as senior coach and he is on page 3 and trailing posts about Dimma by a mile.
Just watched his presser. Geez he is a super polished presenter and communicator. Not sure he has the cattle this year but let's see. Don't think anyone will be struggling to understand where they stand and what they need to do.
I'm a big pronoun watcher. Yze has his 'we' down perfectly. Hardwick still used 'they' a lot when describing the players. "We" will see.
