Adem Yze

he could torch the museum. bulldoze PRO. smelt that jack dyer statue.

change the jumper to pink and yellow. rebrand as the seahorses.

I don't care what he does if he wins premierships
Oh we're from Seahorseland
A fighting fury
.....
Oh we're from Seahorse
Yellow and Pink
Oh We're from Seahorseland.

Not sure I'd be happy with those changes.

I’m gonna be honest here, I felt like Adem should’ve delivered the post-match presser (unless he was elsewhere?) on Sunday instead of Truck

Yeah just a praccie match but the fans first chance to hear him speak on tangible footy performance. Small thing but I thought it was slightly odd he didn’t take the mic

Agree - in years gone past it seems all the clubs get the assistants to do the post match presser for the practice games so I guess they're just going with tradition. In saying that I agree as new coach in his first 'hitout' would have been best if it was him

If it makes any difference, Chaplin spoke for Melbourne instead of Goodwin. It wasn’t an official presser like we see post game during the season, just a quick chat. *smile* questions too as usual, with some guy asking about our new forward line set up after Rutten had already spent a minute or so discussing it. Didn’t let him off either, with an “as I said before” or something along those lines 😅

Don't want to hear from him.
I want silence
I want wins,
That's it

Agree. Sounds a bit arrogant but it is the best way to move forward and break complacency within the club. I reckon Ooze will get harder as he settles in as coach.
I agree too. by seeing that all the time it makes players a bit complacent.

The aim needs to be a new picture not continually looking at an old one its gone and club needs to re set and move on towards its next attack.

Its Yzes team now its his ship.

Media Muppets.

Probably too busy rehearsing his forward line question in his head, and not paying attention whilst it was already being asnswered after someone else asked it.

The thing that makes it odd to me is like, in my mind, if you're giving that media spot to an assistant coach you're doing it to build them up & give them some experience, so why give it to someone who spent a couple years as a head coach & already has the experience?

Yep. We as supporters can bask in those pictures all we want and the players can do so at home but at the club it’s time to mean business again

Ah well maybe no one else wanted to speak or they just randomly allocated someone? Teague did a radio interview Monday. Don’t read too much into why Yze didn’t speak and who spoke in his place. We’ll hear from Yze post game 23 times this season.

Bring on the footy FFS.

The abyss now has us debating who should do the presser in scratchies.

Nah

Small thing but it was his first afl sanctioned game coaching the mighty RFC

If for no one else but for himself, why not enjoy that moment?

Totally belongs in the abyss though

He can enjoy the moment when we beat GC.

Senior coaches never take pre season game pressers.

It takes some balls to do that. Considering there are still a fair few players from that era.
Those players have been a bit flat since 2020

Squad looks absolutely ripped at the moment. So much so I’m inclined to revise my prediction of a lowly finish

If Yze wants to clear the walls then I wholeheartedly agree
