I have a sneaking suspicion that Yze will get some serious potential out of Cumberland and he will become a very good player for us.

Here's hoping. For some reason I really want him to succeed. I thought he was treated harshly last year. Seems to be training hard.

I can only assume the rumours regarding his relationship with Dimma not being great were based on some fact. At best he got some tough love......

If I understand correctly, Yze is likely to go with a more attack through the corridor type of gameplan. I could see Cumberland enjoying that. I thought he showed some really good signs when he took the game on and played direct footy attacking the goals.

Dunno whether last seasons tough love was warranted or not - but the new coach gives Cumberland a perfect chance to relaunch his footy career
He could become a seriously important part of our resurgence and it’s great to read of his good fitness and the way he seems to be approaching training
Might be a big bonus for us next season

I think the way Dimma slayed Cumbo in public was awful and in hindsight showed how over he was coaching Richmond. He just had to show public support for Cumbo and deal with everything else behind closed doors. No surprise Cumbos form fell off a cliff.

Watching / listening to Ooozes presser, was there a hint that Balta will be forward this year?

Has enormous skills/athletic abilities but always thought he was a straight ahead type suited to CHB.

I think he's a straight shooter, whilst keeping whatever needs keeping, close to his chest.

He's obviously nervous, as the wedding ring copped a fair old work out.... or maybe that's just his way of letting Mrs. Ooze know he loves her

IMO Dimma was against Cumbo playing his natural game expected him to provide defensive pressure before anything else

If Martin moves more into a full time mid then Cumbo has a chance to shine.

People forget in his purple patch he wasnt playing in the forward line with Martin

Had more opportunities with the ball and to use his individual skill set.
