2024 Training With The Ooze Crew

Yep and Kosi has already shown a more physical edge than Miller. If he can get the ball to ground, crash packs and create spillages, that’s a good outcome and what we sorely missed alongside Jack last year (we had Pickett in that role ). Bonus if he clunks contested marks and kicks more than a goal/ goal and a half a game I reckon
Yep. Looks a bit slow off the lead but has good mobility for his height.

Intrigued to see Kosi on a consistent basis. Anyone that knows me knows I’m hardly a poster boy for being a one eyed fan so I genuinely mean this when I say well before kosi was ever known to be our target I always thought he showed something and couldn’t understand why he wasnt getting games consistently. Hope he takes a step fwd with us and becomes a solid player.

Kane looks like beast!!!

I would be hoping for more than a goal a game

I have it at 40+ goals to call it a good call to get him
Goal a game, taking some defensive heat off the Lynchman n crashing some packs to create opportunities for the smaller forwards will be a decent return from another clubs reject spud.
Anything more is pure bonearse.

His best season was 27 back in 2021 so based on that a goal a game is very optimistic.

Larger issue here is the chronic lack of KPP, in particular forwards, coming into the league in general. Most, if not all clubs would be regularly playing someone over 195cm that has no right being on an AFL list.

The AFL should do more to address this because good key forwards have historically put bums on seats. Or is it eyeballs on screens now? Either way, the league deserves a better quality of tall.

At this time of year, every player is trying to stake their claims for a spot in the side. But which roles are the toughest to fill? We take a look at all 18 clubs.

RICHMOND

Jacob Koschitzke has slotted in as favourite to pair Tom Lynch up forward, if Lynch is fit. But coach Adem Yze appears open to swinging Noah Balta from defence to attack. Youngster Josh Gibcus is poised to drop back into defence upon his return from hamstring troubles after a carefully staged training plan.

Reckon less than 20 did that last year, not sure any of them were second bananas.

Maybe Jesse Hogan.

Pay walled. I'm in a northern state, so no AFL coverage except AFL website.
With forums like punt road end, we barely need msm .

Jeez hasn't SEN become huge.

Footy classified is probably the only show I watch.

I don't mind the Monday night version.

A new coach, new game plan, fit Lynch. Lynch plus some one as 2nd and 3rd KPF.

Should be better than Jack R plus Ryan and Bauer and Miller and Pickett.

I hope skilled players get a bit more of selection consideration.

Kosi plays back up ruck too. So I'd start the year with Nank and Kosi..

Indications suggest a more attacking game style using the centre corridor a bit more. Fair enough. Bit worried about our kicking and the ability to execute that though. Can see the ball coming back over our heads a bit and some big scores being kicked against us. Who knows. Like you say, it will take a while to solidify.
Thats the reality of it well said.

Some people are unrealistic.

Jack as our main target last year kicked 1.5 a game.

If he kicks between 20-30 with Lynch getting 50 we will win quite a few games
