2024 Training With The Ooze Crew

He's only just started running and the first game is eight weeks away. I'm fine if he doesn't play R1. Let's get back to when Burge had blokes fit as a racehorse before he'd allow them to play.
Agree, too many times last year we sent players out early eg Soldo, Seth Campbell, then they got injured after one game..

Our opening game is just over seven weeks away.
I'm assuming indeed hoping that he doesn't play our first four, at least.

Current training phase focus

"Obviously football. New coaches, new game plan and all those things, as much football as possible. We're still working on other physical aspects, but footy is definitely the focus. We play Melbourne in four-and-a-half weeks, and we'll be ready to go."

Where & when do we play the Dreamons ?

This article mentions a round of Match Simulations from Feb 21 to Feb 24, but only eight matches had been confirmed at the date of the article with both Tigers and Dees not confirmed.

Can’t find any more info, so I probably didn’t help you with your question Taz

This explains my Dec 21 post:

Today's Injury Report:

Shai Bolton, ankle

"He hurt his ankle with a minute to go of the Port Adelaide game (Round 24) last year, with a minute to go of the season. The surgery was really successful, it went really well. He slowly worked into some training just before Christmas, and since we got back from the break, he's pretty much been in everything. He's looking fantastic."

Dec 21
Shai: Seems to have bulked up a bit but has been absent from my reports as has not been a regular attendee and has not blitzed when he has been there but the class still shines through.

Good on ya Cuz, once a Tiger always a Tiger.

"Ben Cousins visits Richmond training as Tom Lynch steps up fitness"

"Ben Cousins was a popular and surprise guest at Richmond on Wednesday, with the former Eagle and Tiger watching on as Tom Lynch stepped up his efforts to rebuild his fitness"

"Brownlow medallist Ben Cousins was a popular surprise guest at Punt Road on Wednesday, to watch a number of Tigers continue their build in fitness.
The West Coast champion played 32 games with Richmond in 2009-10 and still has close links with the club, including returning assistant coach and former captain Chris Newman."

"Cousins hasn’t been a stranger to the Tigers and has popped in to check out training before."

"He sat boundary-side along with agent Paul Connors and was warmly greeted by Dustin Martin, among other Tigers
."
