2024 Training With The Ooze Crew

Brown or Grimes, Young, Broad
Vlastuin, Gibcus, Short
Ross, Hopper, Taranto
Bolton, Balta, Baker
Clarke, Lynch, Cumberland
Nankervis, Martin, Prestia
D. Rioli, Graham, Dow, McAuliffe

Honestly that looks fairly competitive... The backline is a worry though, dunno how long the Balta experiment will last. I expect he'll end up back again and Kosi will come in as the forward/backup ruck.

First, Dow and now Balta speaking at the presser. Good to see the next gen stepping up to take on responsibilities and leadership.

Possible the guys will have a big session tomorrow to make up for today? I’m only speculating.. There’s an open training in Darwin but only for an hour and seems like there’s only a handful of guys there anyway… if our beloved track watchers are in the area for a little squizz.

Edit- forgot that festival is on so probably not a massive session if players are attending from 12 onwards

Fans will have the opportunity to meet some of the players at an open training session in Darwin at TIO Stadium.

When: Saturday, February 10
Time: 7.15am-8.15am approx with the opportunity for autographs after training
Access to training is via reception at the Michael Long Learning and Leadership Centre.

Thanks MR!

7.15 on Saturday morning is most definitely snooze time unless our recently departed rogue rooster comes back to wake me. If I am up I’ll get over there…. I’m not half the man Caesar is.

On what you saw at the match how did you rank Kozi, Schofield LeFau Fawcett and Archie ie 1-5? Interested in our VFL line up.
Interesting question. They all have slightly different attributes.
However:
1) Lefau just for presence
2) Kosi with AFL experience. If he could hold his marks he would easily be #1
3) Schofield. Not outstanding but ok
4) Fawcett and May = both have great upsides and show glimpses. May more of a backman I think.

Is May Archie May?
