2024 Training With The Ooze Crew

thanks for posting that TF.

Short to half back again (where he's played best) pretty much means Daniel is slated for a midfield role. Exciting.

Only concern was Broady using the term vibrancy.

Short and Daniel can coexist in the same back line.

I noticed that too. Channeling his inner Ben Lennon :)

Looks like the indigenous boys headed off to the Tiwi Islands instead.

Hopper still standing out as a starting mid? He’s a crucial part of our midfield puzzle imo. Oh, and thank you for stepping up in Caesar’s absence, great report
Hopper was effective and dare I say it a bit classy. Hopefully he stays fit.

Dow must be a lock for round 0 ,never seen before so much news and good reports coming from tigers and coaches, especially from guys like Newman whom have been all round quality afl players for over 20 years.

Hope he does well. If he can carry his last few games form into this season will go a long way to help our midfield compete again with some of the better teams.

Prestia looks likely to miss a few games during the year so we need some backups to shore up the midfield

If Dow kills it when he’s in the side, based on Yze comments, Dion may struggle to push him out of the side. I’m just wanting sides to be selected on form, not reputations anymore.
FWIW, I think that Dion still has what it takes to continue being the star midfielder he’s been for us, but these recurring soft tissue injuries are creating doubt and making me think he’s on his last legs or at the very least, cannot rely on him being the superstar he has been.

Yup - Dion when fit is our best midfielder by a mile. ( I am not discounting Taranto or Dusty) by the way.

If we're relying on Dow in the midfield this season, we're in a lot of trouble
