Agree. Confident. Wants the job and believes he can do it. I think he would have learnt a lot from the transition from Clarko to Mitchell.
I think Newman's 3AW interview was incredibly revealing - he knows he's got the gig for mine.
smart money for tactics junkies like me is to look at Hawthorn under Mitchell - fair chance Newy would bring some exciting IP with him and there's an even fairer chance he sold a tactical vision to the interview panel that transcended the old chaos thing we're still kicking along like a can on the road
FWIW I don't think we are a typical rebuild team.
We have Bolton, Balta, Taranto, Hopper, Drioli, Baker, Ross as best 22 that are 26 and under.
Add in some up and comers like Clarke, Sonsie, Brown, Young, MRioli, Ryan, Bauer, Cumbo, Coulthard.
Plus some older players that have a few.ywars left like Prestia, Dusty, Nank, Broad, Vlastuin, Lynch.
The list is not bin quality. It's not what ot was but I can't recall a better list for a first time coach to work with

It'll come down to whether we can adapt to a more precise style - cos that's what the new coach will be instilling from day one I feel.
i'm gonna just keep sayin' it - we need a couple more top ten national draft mids if we're going anywhere at all.
Everyone's so confused with all these appointments that they've lost track of who they're replying to.
I thought you said Harvey was going to be Mini's assistant.
That's the problem with making stuff up, it's hard to remember all the stuff you've said.
