Mini is internally rated better then fly it's why Mini was promoted to 2ic ahead of carra fly leppa etc
They all jumped off once knew mini had the job long term
The players have stated mini is a clone of fly but a better a version
I guess we will find out over the next 3 years
Could be wrong but I don’t remember any coaching positions having so many drop outs before. Normally those in line have been fighting tooth and nail to secure a senior job.

Not drop outs they never actually applied our process is unique asking for applications most are either head hunted or chased
Club asked for applications most found it unusual as its not the norm so being time poor didn't put in an application
Nobody has dropped out ever media assumed they applied when Carr skipworth grigg Graeme and chaplain never put their hand up

Seriously? This is an opportunity to be senior coach of an AFL club. We're a top club. Even if we're on the way down, that is a challenge for a new coach and normal for a new coach, you don't take the reins when on top. Even if we've stuffed up the process, thats a challenge to improve the club once you get the job.
Anyone who is dropping out is not fair dinkum, doesn't want it, or has a bizaare inflated view of themselves if they are waiting for some imagined perfect gig...
They have either dropped out because they don't think they're ready, fair enough, or they don't want to be scorned or they don't like us, in which case they can get stuffed and we don't want them.
Who's said they didn't want the job? Is it just that they've missed out/didn't meet the selection criteria/weren't shortlisted for interview?
Don't jump at shadows, we're a professional organisation running a thorough process with a detailed position description. People will miss out on the job!
Don't know whether Newy has an angry streak, he certainly wouldn't have a thin skin though, he was a whipping boy on this site for most of his career.

If Mini is in then we need a smart tactician coach to support him. Like Carr is to Hinkley, Leppa is to Fly.
Because Collingwood had already signed Fly in 2016 to succeed Buckley, silly.
