2024 Richmond Coach

I reckon it'll be all Richmond bias with the GF being: Mini v Newy.

If Jack plays next season, besides him, Duz and Grimo, I don't think many other players know Newy.
i like the idea of Chris Newman coming back to the club - what's he been at the Hawks? 8 years or more?

and I agree TF - it might be down to him and Mini

Newy deserves to be in mix. Been involved with Dimma Clarko and the anointed one ‘Mitchell’. Coached a flag with his own team and his highly respected/liked in all footy circles. Been involved with wooden spoon teams and teams and the pointy end.

I like the fact that Newy has coached his own side and won a premiership whilst also being involved in a rebuild with Hawthorn.

If Mini is hired, I reckon I'll dead set puke. We are an absolute rabble. Making St Kilda look like premiership contenders.
I'm sure there'll be a response after quarter time, but I see no improvement in the performance week to week. The same weaknesses seem to be there.
*smile* entries up forward, slingshot back the other way for a score.

When will learn? If we let the opposition get uncontested possessions - we get belted !!

Agreed General. We need something new and fresh. McQualter won’t provide that.

Geez looks like a market crash sells on Mini already. Sell, sell, sell :mhihi
I have no confidence in him. We've only really beaten sides below us, or near us.
Our weaknesses haven't been addressed, or at least not adequately.
I'd also fire whomever is our forward entry coach. They're cashing cheques whilst performance is non existent.
We might get up and win today, that's just more wallpaper over the cracks. We're easily beaten by a side that executes basics well.

These are the limitations he has to deal with.

Would have thought any hope McQualter had has evaporated in the past two weeks, been disgraceful performances and the lack of pressure on the opposition makes it hard to even watch. Neither StK or WB are serious contenders but we have made them look premiership favourites

That's a cop out.

To say he's had no ability to change things to the extent he could address deficiencies in our attack and defence is a tad lenient.

No intensity , poor effort footy smarts out the window , same old with match committee. How can he been considered for the job. Even those wins we won it was playing on the back of 1 or 2 good quarters.

If they decide Mini gets the job, he has to explain clearly that these performances are not acceptable and won't be repeated. Along with not being soft with players he's known for long.
