There's still a bit of premiership hangover lingering around PRE, the notion we're still a destination club is at odds with our wooden spoon finish. Cadman probably doesn't even want to become a Tiger, he probably realises Richmond won't make finals for quite some time and would prefer to play for a team still in the premiership window. 17 other clubs will also be competing for his signature, it would be arrogant to assume he's welded to Richmond.
Like I said Bully. Not next year. When he become a free agent our super draft kids from this year start to really shine.

There's a great saying in sport: form is temporary, class is permanent.

Richmond is temporarily 18th on the ladder. Classwise, we remain top 4. 100,000 members, play at the home of footy, best song, best fans.

We are and will remain a destination club. Especially for a lifelong Tiger fan at a plastic interstate franchise whose best mate is about to go #1 to the Mighties.

The more this year has gone, and having time to really think ,player's like Faull/Armstrong/Jack Whitlock are seriously underrated ,decent keyforwards are hard to come by ,and flanker types who pinch hit in the mid field are common every year .

Faull or Whitlock if you had a choice between the 2?

Probably Faull because he also works up the ground to be a connection point, plus his work on the ground is good, but Jack Whitlock also works hard .
Armstrong l find very hot or cold,he can star one day and do nothing the next ,and doesn't work hard to get involved in general play, probably the best set shot though.

Yep, destination club theory doesn’t wash anymore. The club is on the nose in the market. The mass exodus of this year did way more damage reputation wise off the ground then the impact it will have on the ground and that’s saying something.
No it didn’t. I can tell you that from the mouth of an AFL player.
We are definitely seen as a destination club.

With #25 - Sydney bid on Sam Marshall. '

Assuming Brisbane match (and they have the points), with #26 Sydney pick Harrison Oliver. Long term replacement for Lloyd and expected to be a key part of the Swans renewed defensive group with Whitlock

Just to add to this. Our draft bounty this year is a gift that will drive the next Tiger generation. Don't underestimate the power of a group of talented young men coming through together determined to write their own chapter in this storied club's history. Do not discount the power of the Richmond, Tiger, brand. It faded for a generation but it is back, big time, baby. We have the size, the romance, the whole *smile* kit and caboodle and you are a self-loathing dildo if you think a talented young man would rather play for anyone else. We're the *smile*. Richmond is the One. We know, and they hate us for it. We're smarter and classier than Collingwood, we're more decent than Carlton, and Essendon is a *smile* joke. We are the Big Deal In Town. The rough-handed charmer in a tux with a Ute and they all want to dance with us.

Form is temporary.
