The Suns are no longer easy beats and will challengeEasiest fixture we've had since 2017. Our last 4 fixtures of north, saints, hawks and suns looks like 4 easy wins.

I agree but we won't lose to them at the MCG. They are very poor whenever they play thereThe Suns are no longer easy beats and will challenge
It doesn’t matter who we play or where we’re going to find wins very hard to come by for the next couple of years at a minimum.I agree but we won't lose to them at the MCG. They are very poor whenever they play there

That’s what people said of our fixture this year saying most were easy and winnableEasiest fixture we've had since 2017. Our last 4 fixtures of north, saints, hawks and suns looks like 4 easy wins.
He’s a tiger so you would have thought a closer eye on our fixture would have taken placeThe leagues new boss off to a great start if that’s the case
Exactly, so our HG has been ripped off!We will be Playing Stkilda at the shithole later in the year.
we beat North by 70 points once when Rory Hilton and Pettifer starredProbably not to be honest
And I did predict a visit to Geelong tooExactly, so our HG has been ripped off!
But either way - we are playing Aints twice but no HG at the G. Ripped off! Advantage Aints; screwed by AFL under the new Dill. The first team is simply listed in alphabetical order for all the clubs for the gather round fixture.
Home teams for each game in Gather Round will be confirmed when the full 2024 Toyota AFL Premiership Season fixture is released later this week.
If we are in the finals race at that time expect Cornes to complain
You can read the AFL like a book.I've got a feeling they will get us to go to Geelong too.
The hate squad is alive and it's ready for payback
Back to 1992??The AFL obviously feel we are going to fall away and be ordinary to watch next year. Lots of off Broadway games and Sunday night graveyard games scheduled.
Exactly, AT. It's also a factor with teams like Cartoon/Bummers et al playing their HGs at Marvel under a roof, weather-protected. The MCG attendance often drops off when winter cold and/or rain forecast for a proper outdoor stadium which lowers attendance by 5/10K or more IMO. Especially young families and older fans, and especially night games with several degrees colder. We finished bottom 6, the Blues top 6 and they only topped us by 27K in home and away attendances, link below shows home and away only (finals don't count) plus blues played pies twice and got 80K+ on the 2nd meeting.
The AFL just gotta do the maths, had we played pies twice we finish second, or if we had made the 8 we would easily have finished second. We topped attendances in 2015, 2017, 2018 & 2021 and came 2nd in 2016 and 2019. Shouldve topped it again in 2019 but the Pies played the Bombers twice and we played GWS twice, reverse that fixture and we come out on top again. Pies get looked after like no other.

The AFL is a completely contrived and corrupted competition and will remain so until there are home and away games against every opposition every season. The AFL quickly forgets the money we generate for them.
2 x 5 day breaks
Playing at the bush oval in Geelong
No Friday nights
Marvel home game against a team that plays home games there
Port Adelaide in Adelaide …again !!!
Richmond v carlton no longer the season opener
I don’t believe in theories about vendettas or punishments ….or do I ?
This is Dillon's sick joke and his opening attack on our great club. The stadium’s official capacity is listed at 15,000, but numbers have been capped at 10,500 for AFL games to help ensure fans have an enjoyable match day experience.
At 165m long, it’s similar to most AFL venues, but is significantly skinnier than most at 110m wide, compared with Adelaide Oval (125m), the MCG (141), Marvel Stadium (128.8), Optus Stadium (130) and Giants Stadium (127.5).
Norwood Oval is a five-minute drive from Adelaide’s CBD, but fans are advised to use public transport as there is no on-site parking available and on-street parking near the stadium is limited.
