We will trade the first pick tomorrow down the order for an F2 or a couple or later picks
So we give up 27 for a top 5 pick and then pick the better Whitlock with pick 1 tomorrow?
Yeah we have two F1's next year, but nothing at all after that - second and third rounders are gone.
Reckon that's how we'll play it.
Not really. We could have included 6 for 2 as part of this deal.
With the players on the board and that we've already locked in our talls, I think thats how it will play out too. Could be a fun start to the draft tomorrow. Is it the same time?
With massive academy picks next year it may have been pick 27 (this year) and pick 29-30 for pick 4. Easy money.

AFLHQ are absolutely pathetic. Making certain that every pick announcement is held till the absolute last second until they pretend that the pick has been lodged. Cameras on kids or recruiters all sitting around stressing nuts or just pissed off with cameras on them from waiting for the announcements to be made made.

Outside the first 8 or 9 it seems like a fairly wild n woolly selection process by us. Hope like *smile* it works.

Potentially - no guarantees North finish low next year. Fingers crossed though.
So with our 7 first round picks, we picked up 3 midfielders. 2 guys with long term injuries, and a guy who might end up a chb.
Lots of potential upside, but hot damn have we taken on a lot of risk tonight, and not sure we've addressed the needs.
Confident in the Armstrong and Smillie picks as long term very good players. The rest is a lot of who knows.
