2024 Draft Thread

The top 6 mids in this draft are as the above.

I know the club will take whoever Melbourne doesnt pick. At this stage its Smillie.

But if a curve ball is thrown in ie Tauru at 2 then we will have to make a decision. But you can lock in our first 2 picks to come from that group of 6 players.

It will be Lalor and Smillie. Locked and loaded Smokin.

So if Duz is presenting the jumper it looks like we're not resting the #4.....which I don't mind. Time to fill #8, #9, #11 and#12 again.
Kids usually get the high apprentice numbers n the young up n comers move into their higher career numbers. Sonz at 4, Bauer at 8, Steely at 9, think I better see myself out now, before things get ugly:bash:help

Grand Final nervous.

Defining night for the club.

Generational importance.

Historic. No other club has chosen this path.

Will alter the definition and strategy of rebuilds for future generations.
So I see in my absence you've become no less dramatic Pooper Scooper....

Yeah it is. Will be defining - In time.

No nerves though cos we won't know the outcome for years!! :D
Reckon it will be judged quicker than we think, rightly or wrongly.

And the definition of success is what varies, don't expect finals next year but if we are pushing 9-10 wins in 2026 it's a success.

It will be Lalor and Smillie. Locked and loaded Smokin.
Yeah seems that way Hazey Days

Just way to much intel now everywhere on this happening...

And I should know as I've just spent the last 7 hrs at work (work...he he) looking at PRE, SEN, Every phantom draft known to man, You tube, Big Footy (feel dirty), One Eyed Richmond Forum (that's where Claw went  ) Richmond FC, Herald Sun and a bit of Onlyfans and I'm cooked.

Time to head home...throw the ball to the dog and log back on...big night coming up !

About time. Was getting sick of your inane PM's Purple Cape. Now leave the voodoo worship altar for 5 minutes and give the good people of PRE your thoughts. Hurry up. We've only got a few hours.
When I gave you my notes you agreed with everything I had to say so I assumed they were rubbish and threw them all out.

Whilst I was against it and Twomey says its a no go - geez a Tiger trade for pick 2 would shake this whole thing up!

We will have a decision regardless if Norf don't trade 2 and they do or don't take Tauru.

We will be choosing between one of Tauru, FOS, Smith, Draper, Langford v Smillie.

Big big call to pass on one of them for Smillie.

It just feels like we should go Tauru at 6 (most likely of the above to be there), let Smillie slide and pick him up at 10. Then we also have less pressure on pick 11 and 18 to reach for talls.

I'm here. Where have you been?
You've been hiding in plain sight all along!

Good to see you posting, Phanto. Give us a top ten or 30 if you get the chance, brah. Put some of these whippersnappers in line.

It's not to say someone else doesn't pick Tauru before us but regardless, if Norf don't trade we've got to decide between one of Tauru, FOS, Langford, Draper, Smith v Smillie.

One of them will be left over at 6 v Smillie.

Hitting the wrong notes with Cal's batch, there are 2 very obvious paths from here, trade pick 6 for pick 2 and grab Smith or hold our picks and pick Tauru at 6. Shanahan is risky, maybe even risker than someone like Sims who is at least ruck height.
Bully I'm not seeing it like that Shanahan does the good things right in a KF good kick , presents well and athletic the most important aspects. The other stuff like mongrel and ground ball we work on

Put em on the thread. It's a bit of a red letter day. Hopper's back too.
