This draft is a dream draft. Set us up for our next era. *smile* the Cats and their *smile* F1 and F2 that could be in the mid 20's and 2nd in the high 40s in a draft that many are saying doesn't bat deep. Yes, that could change but rather stick with the talent at our disposal in this draft that every club wants in.
Keep our picks unless we are dealing with North or Saints which benefits us, if not NO DEAL
I think he's better than Draper, I can see the reasons why you take Smith. On the other hand Adelaide have seen Draper up close and personal and perhaps they don't think he has the temperament to be playing in a two club state. I think overlooking a homegrown talent is a risky, there will be a lot of scrutiny if Draper turns out the better of the two.
Geez I have been reading a bit of crap of late, especially from the media thinking we'll cough up 6+11 for pick 2 and I must say some posters are happy to gift early first-rounders or take F1 for our prime real estate. We are in an envious position mate.
Yze said when the boys got back in that video that 8 players are coming in. I'm not sure if he just said that cause we have 8 draft picks. I do think we'll take 7 min maybe the full 8
Won't we still take 8? Regardless of where we take them, we have 8 list spots.
True but a player picked at 24 in this upcoming draft potentially would be a top 15 pick in most other drafts. The talent in this draft is just so deep.
Now if the Lions or Port or Swans gave us their F1 that could be in the '20s but as we speak now the talent drops off after the first 10. Going to be many father-son and academy players next year.
Unless a F1 is coming from North or West Coast for our pick 24 then we should take the full 8
