2024 Draft Thread

Ok some kinda mail but nothing really new , Tigs met with Berry again Wednesday, Bombers are apparently super keen on Berry and are likely to try and buy a pick for him , I can see their future first coming to us ( no idea really) .

Junior watchers will know of these , however apparently 194 cm midfield kid Unley is a super talent who will go high next year and also a key position forward from North Albury named Heatherton looks like being very very good .
I would not be upset at all if Berry was 1 of our picks at #10 & #11
I genuinely believe there will be a few clubs looking to move up to get Berry
Bomber would have an interest as well as Fremantle if they get a sniff that other teams want him i could see #14 +#30 for #10/#11 happening on the night.

GWS are also very very keen and i wouldnt rule out #15+#16 for #11 + #23

cats want to trade up for Dodson , eyeing our picks as per the herald sun . Reckon their f1 isn’t good enough may end up being f1 + f2

No pick swaps for me..keep what we have.
..unless...pick 2... for 6 and 23. ..or 10 and 23.
Thats it.

We can get 8 great draftees with what we have...or 7 slightly better options with a pick 2 swap.

Thats it. Nothing else required.

It must say something that Adelaide are moving up for Smith & not Draper, I think that is a buyer beware signal.
Don't forget a few weeks ago Draper was meant to have said he didn't want to be involved with Adelaide. He had to backtrack 24hrs later, but i reckon there's something there.

I just came back from our national conference and one of my SA colleagues is on the board of South Adelaide. We were talking about Sid Draper and he mentioned that he's heard that the Crows are not interested in him.

The move up for Jagga underlines that.

It's all a bit weird, normally they would be all over the best SA talent.
