2024 Draft Thread

Except Finn O’Sullivan does it too, and everything else, better than Jagga. Also has the Chad Warner sidestep and take the hole. He's our man. Then Bo, then Jagga.

ill take a look at O'Sullivan, and will surely get a close up look at Bo.

but im gonna take a fair bit of budging off our Jagga

i guess it is figuring out if he will be a JHF/Reid type, or a Cripps/Wines type. the 2nd pair are very good footballers, and can help teams win, but they are not what we need alongside Taranto and Hopper.
JHF/Reid types can play alongside anyone.

Yeah, big difference between big guys, and big guys with acceleration and kicking skills.

Lets get all 3. FOS with our 1st, Jagga with a pick from the GC (trade for pick value) and Allan with an early teens pick (baker or maybe Carlton).

Done, next premiership on its way :)

indeed.

plus you want 'em to have kicked their nana in the face to win musical chairs at their 5th birthday party

Posh you have probably listed elsewhere, buy what would entice Gold Coast for pick swaps . What type of scenario.

Totally out on Moraes. Kicks it like a sack of spuds. Butcher by foot. Creative by hand. Good in traffic. Sound familiar? It's the Thomposn Dow profile. Fool me once....

Jagga Smith, warming even more to him. Does something I love at stoppages, is always on his toes, bouncy, ready to explode. And doesn't kick or handball to the last minute, will take contact to give his teammate that extra second to get free, the Chimp was one of the best at that. Mom runs the catering for the MCC and the family has a great relationship with many AFL clubs. Good family.
I said this 2 months ago old boy.
Can he hit a target by foot though ?

Gee whiz. Good mover, great at ground level, linking etc but I reckon all bar 2 of those kicks in that highlights were scrubbers, nothing kicks and turnovers.

We’ve got enough of those. (Moraes isn’t good either).

I reckon by the end of the year you'll need a top 5 for Allan, and maybe Jagga too

Dunno about Bo Bo. He’s gonna be playing in a *smile* WA side that may cause him to be a bit overrun. Hope so.
Yeah, let's hope. And let's hope our WA spy hasn't gone with Clarke.

Is he in the mould of Philipou?
Moraes? Nothing like the Pou. He's smaller and quicker and a better runner full stop. More like MacDonald from Hawthorn or Chayce Jones, maybe.

MacDonald is still just like he was as a junior. An extreme runner and worker, but his kicking is *smile*.
