2023 Women's World Cup

Well this football expert isn't happy about the USA's performance. Blaming their "wokeness" for the loss and why its emblematic of the country in general and why its going down the gurgler.

Woke equals failure, you know. This expert is NOT happy !

Wowee. The stupidity is relentless.
He's been at war with them for a while. At least back to the Tokyo Olympics.

“If our soccer team, headed by a radical group of Leftist Maniacs, wasn’t woke, they would have won the Gold Medal instead of the Bronze. Woke means you lose, everything that is woke goes bad, and our soccer team certainly has. There were, however, a few Patriots standing. Unfortunately, they need more than that respecting our Country and National Anthem. They should replace the wokesters with Patriots and start winning again.”

The US keeper saved a penalty, scored a penalty and as good as the Swedish keeper was during the game, she didn't actually touch it during the shootout, but gets the win.

A keeper really has nothing to lose in a penalty shootout. No pressure as it's all on the penalty taker. No professional footballer, espeacially the top 5 penalty takers of a team, should miss a penalty. 11m out. No opposition pressure. Keeper not allowed to move forward until the ball is kicked. Keeper is on a hiding to nothing.

No Sam Kerr.
Sam's playing in the "Break glass in case if Emergency" position.

Though if we're a couple up with 10mins to go, I can see Kerr getting a run just give her legs a run.

What a fantastic leg Chooky Fowler has, her passing is exquisite.

peach of a goal but fear we're defending too deep & may invite pressure & ultimately an equaliser. Fowler & Foord world class.

Another couple of beautiful touches by Fowler, and a nice finish by Raso.

France or Morocco next and then maybe the Pommies in the semis. Shame there's no more games in Melbourne.
