Collingwood lose one of their tall defenders early in the game, and Brisbane don't have the good sense to get the ball down to their tall forwards quickly. I'm no Hipwood fan, but when a team is going backwards and sideways with 15m kicks, you simply aren't going to get many opportunities as a tall forward.
That premiership team has got 4 or 5 players that would struggle to make the starting 22 in most AFL sides, but at rhe end of the day, they have premiership medals.hanging around their.necks.
But it just looked to me like the Lions were so scared of losing that they never gave themselves a chance to actually win the game by taking it on.
