Came down and played above his age bracket with Caulfield Old Boys U/19s against top of the ladder St Kevins.
3 goals and clear best on ground playing as a tall midfielder.
The kid can play
George Stevens tidy skills not a hell of a lot of pace or dynamism competitor yep Jack Graham clone.
Nothing like Graham. Much bigger and more inside. More like Cripps in type
He’s still slow though. And we’ve got enough slow midfielders already.
Yes, that's the knock (would like to know what he ran for 20m/2k), and there's probably not a spot for another slow mid in our side, hence I lean more to Chedda Edwards, Cooper Simpson or Will Graham.
I like George as a footballer though. Great hands and a very good kick for an inside mid.
Does he have the potential to be a similar player to Petracca ? I see he lost a year to an ACL so you would think if he could drop 5kg he would improve rapidly
Don't think he has the explosive fast twitch that Trac has.

It might be that at our pick he's the best available. He might slide to our second.

Hes slow. Hes a pretty good kick. Hes strong. Hes taller. Yeah Stevens is more like Taylor Swift.
Sorry if this has been spoken about, just joining in now and wondering if anyone knows anything about Charlie Naish and whether we’ll pick him up? He wasn’t invited to the combine, didn’t get selected to play for Vic Metro and he’s a HB/wing, which we don’t really need. Is it worth us even picking him up with a very late pick or a rookie pick?
In all honesty he is not as good at Pat Naish. Started the season okay but never really took off. Saw him live v Oakleigh and while he did some nice things he certainly didn’t look draftable.
Maybe as a rookie he may be a small chance.
Not being invited to the combine isn't a great sign, unless we want him hidden & plan to take him with a rookie pick.
