I reckon that's written by a Geelong or Essendon supporter

Agree with that summary but Dean still immense value down the order, particularly if we are looking at a tall.Taylor.
Think it’s a moot point with Murley anyway. Stranger things have happened but I don’t see us using pick 28 on a Cooper Murley. Ditto a Charlie Dean and others. Only way they come into play is if we trade on the night and get left with picks in the 40’s and beyond which itself, would seem unlikely given we’re trying to move up and not out.
We’d have to get that “down the order” pick first. Don’t see it happening. Maybe but not likely I think.Agree with that summary but Dean still immense value down the order, particularly if we are looking at a tall.
You're talking 6 spots, I'm talking more. Reckon the Hawks will go for the likes of Butler, MacDonald, Chesser, Wilmot, Draper, JVR, Bazzo, before Taylor. I reckon he goes around 30.Sonsie probably goes at pick 17, I can't see us overlooking him, even with van Rooyen on the board. He will go to Hawthorn at the very latest. Taylor probably goes to Hawthorn if we take Sonsie, so we're talking 6 spots or so.
I'm more concerned about the point where the ball leaves the hand, he guides it better than most. That picture also illustrates why he's so adept at selling candy, nothing to worry about with the kicking accuracy. You're talking 6 spots, I'm talking more. P.S.
That's Taylor on the left. I'd say the top of the ball is at mouth level.
A 15 possession flanker is surely the wrong approach, I won't be impressed.Interesting Twomey mentions we’ve got some interest in Wilmot. Not sure what position he fills, but geez, on attitude and playing style alone, he just screams a Richmond player.
Fair enough. That’s what I mean by I don’t know what role he fills. Unless they have an idea that he can play elsewhere. Who knows.A 15 possession flanker is surely the wrong approach, I won't be impressed.
Have you watched the NAB Academy v Geesook VFL game? After watching that I went right off Sonsie. Was towelled up by Geesooks 2nd string midfielders to the point he didn't touch it. I saw him get one touch (handball) for the whole game and get picked off at stoppages by his opponent for fun in the end.Sonsie is the must grab at 15. He really could a top 5 player from this draft but there is risk. If we can get Ward or Hobbs at 9 then it minimises the risk around Sonsie.
Pretty sure he was injured going into that game.Have you watched the NAB Academy v Geesook VFL game? After watching that I went right off Sonsie. I'll balance that with the VFL game he kicked two in. Swings and roundabouts.Have you watched the NAB Academy v Geesook VFL game? After watching that I went right off Sonsie. If Wilmot were a day younger I reckon he'd spend next year as a mid in tbe NAB League. He's 11 months younger than the likes of Sonsie and Taylor.
That maybe true but you are shooting blind as to his overall production, there needs to be more evidence as to his upside, I for one would be taking Connor McDonald before I considered Wilmot, Richmond needs mids, tried & tested ones.If Wilmot were a day younger I reckon he'd spend next year as a mid in tbe NAB League. I reckon he is a lock for us if still on the board at 17.Interesting Twomey mentions we’ve got some interest in Wilmot. Not sure what position he fills, but geez, on attitude and playing style alone, he just screams a Richmond player.
The point is taking the ball up that high takes time he won't have in an AFL midfield. Expect to see him knocked off his kick a fair bit, at least early on before he rectifies it.I'm more concerned about the point where the ball leaves the hand, he guides it better than most. That picture also illustrates why he's so adept at selling candy, nothing to worry about with the kicking accuracy.
Not sure. I do know that it wasn't the only game where he didn't touch it this year. Clubs know he is talented from u16s but this year he had a few games where he didn't just drift out of the game he was literally unsighted. Spooked a number of clubs and he has dropped accordingly.Pretty sure he was injured going into that game.
I agree, he has time and finds an exit most times.Taylor is smooth like Nick Dal Santo, not sure PRE has quite got a handle on his skill set.
