Exactly why stats shouldn't be used to identify a players influence on a game.

Even Neale, they showed his stats against the Tiges before the game yesterday, averaged something like 36 possessions. His score involvements were 6.3 on average, so somewhere around 1 in 5 of his efficient disposals (has about 80% efficiency) are involved in a scoring chain. He hasn't hurt his too much with all these touches in the past (was a bit better than that last night). Dusty this year as an example (not his best year) and he averages 5 out of 13 so about twice as damaging as Neale.
 
Dogs making it a lot more contested this quarter. Saints like it completely open, we need to make it a big contest and for that we cannot have them taking as many contested marks as the dogs have allowed, means they can control the tempo.
