Vlastuin is no certainty; he's not even in the 40 man squad!
Grimes is a certainty and I think Dusty will make it as well. Would love to see Houli and Prestia in there as well but can't see it happening.
If the greatest ever thinks it, surely that carries some weight? Brad Sheppard in the squad before our boy? GTFO selectors.

From what I understand the selection process isn’t based solely on one year’s form but in the event it’s a line ball or close to line ball decision the player with a more decorated career to date will always take the choccies. With that being said, this isn’t the first outstanding season for Vlastuin. The last two have been just that and the year (premiership) before was almost as good. He’s in my AA back 6. Farce.
So Yobbo and Mincey were discussing the AA forward line. Both agreed J. Cameron would be CHF and FF was between Sideshow Bob Brown, Eyes Too Close Hawkins, Flat Track Bully Darling and Tom Lynch. It’s quite ironic that two blokes who rarely give us the credit we deserve are saying Lynch is in the mix for the AA forward line when he’s not even in the 40 man squad!!

Yeah I didn't get the point of the conversation. If Lynch isn't in the squad, why discuss him?
He was maybe a bit lucky to squeeze into the 22 last year and suffered from not having a set position this season. Still, I had him as the fourth Tiger ahead of Houli and Lynch. Slot him in at CHB...
Unlike others I'm not miffed at Vlastuin missing out. He had a great finish to the h&a season and there is probably a bit of recency bias involved there.
same. I love having Love Machine on our team, and he's done exactly what was required for Richmond after Rancey did his knee and he's a warrior who will go AA.
