Is Cameron Ling the only midfielder on the AA selector panel who’s played AFL in the past 15 years? Could partially explain it.

I’m completely untainted by whatever negative narrative the AFL media been running about Dusty all year, and IMO he was our best player overall and the second half of his season was in Greatest Of All Time territory for mine.
His team was undefeated during that time, unsurprisingly.
Only in Australia could the #1 player in an elite sport be underrated.
