U2 Tiger selects:

David Mackay - Adelaide.

He thinks he'll break out in 2009 - I agree - in pimples more likely ;)

Here's one who flew under my radar too, never even heard of him. Seems a couple rate him, what is the attraction with him?

Ok its after 8.56pm.

I made a comment earlier that im surprised this kid hasnt been taken yet.
With the cupboard nearly bare i might as well take him.

Leroy Jetta[Ess]

played a few games for the crows last year and didn't look out of place.

he has also put on some bulk over off-season, and as all are is tearing up the training track.

I seriously considered him 5 or so picks ago. but thought he was one i might get later, as he may fly under the radar.

C. bird was the one I really wanted.

Cheers, thanks for that.

Mackay....19 games wowsa..more than "a few", well and truly slipped under my radar. Averaging 12 disposals/3 marks not bad, he seems small. Seems to be a runner/attacking type from his stats, is that right?

yep-

hes very much another Vince, Reilly, Van Berlo type - The Crows seem to have an abundance of them.

Mackay got time on ball in his games (limited) and definately looked calm and had the awareness about him.

he will improve IMO.

Now I'll do my usual justification to give Darth Dyer something to wark on at :hihi:

This guy only played 5 games in 08, was injured from Round 3 and came back at round 21. At aged 27 with 162 games, he has a career avg of 16.3 disposals, and for the 5 games in 08 still managed 18.8. Is a great assist player - spots up targets well. Was 4th in his clubs B&F in 2007. Still here at Pick 350+ not bad for a starting 22 player

Ryan Houlihan - Carl (this is the bit that hurts)

I bet that hurt!
Do you have Houlihans total tackle statistics for the last two seasons? I would be extremely surprised if they numbered more than 12.

Sorry guys.

Am at a dinner tonight. Stepped out of company for a few minutes to my host's computer to see if it was my turn.

Obviously it is.

Clint Bartram - Melb

A excellent debut 2006. Injury ridden 2007. But back again in 2008.

A very good interchange, if not full, time flanker.

No need to apologise, above and beyond the call of duty, enjoy your night.

Don;t have 2007's but he did only play 5 games (injured in one) in 2008. Just the 6 tackles - one per game. Would very much agree this is a weakness, but then I'd argue, you don;t have to tackle as much when you have the ball ;)

Tip my hat to such diligence - but then again, this is probably better than sex for Phanto :hihi

Ha!

Sex is highly over-rated. Especially when you get to my age. ;)

Runs all day. And can kick a footy.

For anyone who cares to do the exercise, can your best 22 beat my best 22 in 2008 Dreamteam Avg score (dble points for Capt). My score was 1752. Not unhappy with that...........
