2004 Player of the Year

Re: Player of the year votes- Round 4 vs Cats.

Can I ask the question, when people are giving the votes, what do you people taken into consideration when giving out the votes ?

I noticed a few votes going to people who got alot of the ball, but gave it straight back to Geelong players.

Dont mean to upset people with this post, but just want to know what you all take into consideration when voting.

Re: Player Of The Year Votes Round 5 Vs. Crows

I'll have a go.

3. Flemming (it pains me to do that but he really was the only who had a crack right from the start)

2. Krakouer (because without him we would have struggled to score at all)

1. Brown (for at least using some of his many touches, something most cannot say)

Apologies to Hartigan (who tried hard but outgunned) and Otto (who wasn't as bad as the commentators on 9 made out, bit stiff on a couple of those frees)

Re: Player Of The Year Votes Round 5 Vs. Crows

3 - Brown
2 - Fleming
1 - Krak

apologies to Hartigan

Re: Player Of The Year Votes Round 5 Vs. Crows

3 - BrOwN (solid all night, Pure class).

2 - FlEmInG (Was brave all night, unlike alot of rfc players).

1 - KrAkOuEr (Used the ball well & set up goals, class).

Re: Player Of The Year Votes Round 5 Vs. Crows

3 - Brown
2 - Fleming
1 - Krakouer

Fleming was by far our best player in the first half.

Must say it was easy to give the votes this week as all the other players were socking

Re: Player Of The Year Votes Round 5 Vs. Crows

3 - Fleming (the pin-ball wizard)

2 - Krak (magic moments)

1 - Harts (youthful enthusiasm)

Re: Player Of The Year Votes Round 5 Vs. Crows

Brown (29 disposals is about 20 more than alot of others)

Fleming (has he been on the PRE and seen his future ...)

Krak (never stops trying ... what a goaaaaaaal!)

Re: Player Of The Year Votes Round 5 Vs. Crows

Another tough we k to give votes.

3/ Nathan Brown - Got his share of teh footy and one of a few players in our side that makes use of it.

2/ Andrew Krakeour - One of the few shining lights this year. Good skills and the best tackler in our side. How good would he be in a top side with his crumbing ability and being a one grab player?

1/ Tim Fleming - Best game for the club thus far. Tried hard.

Re: Player Of The Year Votes Round 5 Vs. Crows

3 - Fleming (Richmond's best by a country mile. The only player who played was even close to the intensity and directness and urgency that is required at AFL level. Even his mistakes in the final quarter could be forgiven because at least he was trying to be creative and assertive)

2 - Krakouer (Did some brillant things in the 2nd half, although quiet in the 1st half)

1 - Brown (Did some good things, but all his performance underlined tonight was what I suspected when he first got him, that for all his class and goal-kicking abilities he wasn't what Richmond needed. At least in the short term.)

Re: Player Of The Year Votes Round 5 Vs. Crows

3 Krakouer
2 Brown
1 Fleming
Also Congrats to Harts and Roachy for kicking their first goals in the AFL. Only 606 to go for Tom til he catches his old man ;)

Re: Player Of The Year Votes Round 5 Vs. Crows

3). Krakouer by a country mile

2). Flemming - first and last time his name will appear here.

1). Hyde. Did a couple decent things which is more than most others.

No appologies warranted for anyone else.

Re: Player Of The Year Votes Round 5 Vs. Crows

3 - Brown
2 - Fleming
1 - Fiora

Apologies Krakouer - very quiet 1st half, very good 2nd half.

Re: Player Of The Year Votes Round 5 Vs. Crows

3. Brown
2. Krakour
1. Hartigan

90% of Flemings possessions were either turned over or put his teamate under intense pressure.

Re: Player Of The Year Votes Round 5 Vs. Crows

Of all our games so far this season, this has to be the game where NO-ONE gets votes.

Absolutely ordinary.
