couldn`t agree more.the claw said:bloke in charge of the rehab clinic said cousins had never booked in for another period at the clinic. said cousins should be proud of himself as he is doing well.
just makes you wonder perhaps they should call it the pander to the spoilt rich kids clinic.
i will say it again while cousins has money while the people around him refuse to admit he has a problem until he hits rock bottom and admits he has a problem he will continue to have big problems. i wonder what the odds are of him getting it very wrong and over dosing are.

the first step is admitting you are a drug addict.
but cousins has so many people defending him and making excuses for him that it`s probably hard for him to admit it.
like tigerlee blaming the woman.
it`s not the woman`s fault, cousins is a 29 year old man who can make decisions for himself.
he has organised to go to her house and get on drugs, not anyone else.
everyone blames the eagles, the afl,the police or the media for picking on him,no wonder he doesn`t think he`s got a problem, everyone keeps telling him it`s not his fault.
the sooner everyone stops pandering to him and defending him the better.
he needs to take responsibility for his own actions.
GoodOne said:He's in drug rehabilitation. Seems to me that's enough proof without needing to drug test the player. Cousins, tragically, is the guilty party. He should step out of footy even for a year for his own benefit. The rigours of AFL footy is enough distraction for a player with a serious drug habit. As a drug addict once mentioned, you don't just magically stop the urge to use drugs after a 3 week stint at drug rehabilitation. It can be a long battle for many many years. Cousins is best to resist the urge to play AFL and the lifestyle that can come with it.
Pretty sure he would like it all kept out of the news U2.U2Tigers said:Idiot.
29 year old man whos' well off.
*smile* off Ben out of the news, never hear of him again.
Lets be more concerned with the kids who through many reasons have addiction problems - abuse, failed families, neglecting parents. Lets concern ourselves in helping them.
The_General said:They showed the 911 transcripts of the woman talking to the operator, saying Cousins had been on drugs for 5 days, wasn't violent but was scared. They then confirmed that the hospital had admitted Cousins to their care. He was admitted at the same time his father gave the press conference saying Ben hadn't disappeared and that he was in "appropriate" care. The hospital has no drug rehabilitation unit 9 claimed. He then went to the drug rehab clinic after this, for 2 days as Evo stated.
So Benny ended up bangin' in Hermosa Beach rather than Compton.evo said:As i expressed earlier in this thread. He wasn't over there for re-hab he was there to help the crips 'way down in Compton.'
Jobs done.
I expect he will feature in the next issue of Sony's grand theft auto(Compton edition)

GoodOne said:What medical records?
tigerlee said:I am horrified at this story. I am disgusted that this woman took Ben into her home and had drugs freely available for him - she would have known that he was an addict and yet allowed this to progress to the point of calling an ambulance for him.
For alot of people & especially around his age this happens to be a everyday thing. She wanted to party & so did he.I dont think she was to concerned about to many other things until he started acting a bit funny.
I think until recently football has saved him from becoming & addict (i fail to see how an addict could play football at the highest level, let alone the way he did) but now the signs are not good.Soon footy will no longer be an option & something has to give.At least now some of us who wanted him in the psd can move on & be realistic.
They're public record I think L2R?LeeToRainesToRoach said:Nine apparently showed a transcript of the 911 call - OK, maybe not 'medical records' as such, but I would've though such things would be confidential. I'm interstate and haven't seen the news report, so apologies if I've got this wrong.
GoodOne said:Well, who still wants Cousins at Richmond next year? It's quite amazing the number of people here saying that Cousins should come and play for Richmond, and how it's everyone else's fault he is on drugs, and Richmond can look after him and get him right. Sounds like we are being a bit greedy to me. Get one of the best AFL players for the benefit of Richmond. How about we yhink about Cousins and his own issues as the priority. As I said he needs time to beat his addiction, and playing AFL footy won't help. He needs time away from footy.

Funny how many who continually screamed about the club looking for the quick fix fell into the same trap with Ben.
People just didn't want to see how far Ben has fallen, he is obviously in need of some serious treatment and is obviously going to face a long uphill battle to get himself right.
