Had to have a laugh , when hearing on SEN that the Chasers War on Everything Boys turned up at Sydney airport to meet the arriving Eagles with one of em dressed as a new mascot in Eagle Costume called the WEST COKE EAGLE.
Apparantly he asked Judd for a hug which Juddy laughed at and obliged then followed up by asking Juddy for an Eccy, which surprisingly Juddy also laughed at .................... the West Coke Eagle proceeded to then snort lines of Coke :hihi

Chaser said there was no way he'd go near Worsfold tho ............................ understandably :hihi

Returns end of April, flight booked by the club, and he will be traveling with a family member, an Eagles rep and a member of the AFLPA.

Pressure's obviously taking it's toll.

Just saw ten news and showing cousins leaving perth airport about midnight, can you believe this guy Cousins is said to be stunned over his suspension by his club for drug use, perhaps someone should tell him its illegal..

Not to sure of the details Scooper but along the lines that Judd purely wanted to focus on the game at hand but the media was more interested in the drugs issue. So he got up & left.
Perhaps the Weagles had made a directive that there weren't to be any questions on the issue but the media couldn't help themselves..
I'm sure all will be revealed soon enough.

why is the AFL partly paying for the trip? i would have thought as he was the one who decided he wanted to take the drugs and the amount of moulah he gets paid why couldnt he pay for it himself.....

i suppose thats what happens when you are blowing nose candy day in day out and then taking the field to play...bit like his other mate....

Judd told reporters at the start of the interview, he wouldn't be talking about the incidents of the past couple of weeks, just the game. The reporters kept asking questions about it, he repeated what he said twice and they kept asking, so he walk off, fair enough I say. Cousins was never in denial, he, his family and other people involved have been seeking out the treatment he was going to receive. West Coast have copped a hiding in the media, mainly the press over here for the past week, they'll shut up shop and ban certain media outlets, with the way its going. What's the media been like over there?

Good luck to him,a 2 month stay would suggest a pretty serious problem.

I think an important little titbit in the article is that he would not be staying on-site
sounds like the exercise is more about creating an impression of making an effort to keep everyone happy.
not that I blame him, I doubt he has a serious problem with drugs....good luck to him anyway, I'd almost not mind seeing him playing well against us again.

As much as we have all given cuz a bit of a touch up in this thread i do hope he gets himself back on track cause admittingly i enjoy watching him play, champion footy player.

well you'd be mad to stay on site. No booze or drugs, and all those bloody wowsers hassling you all the time, 'do this, think like this, don't do that', double whammy, it would drive you around the bend.

I would have thought staying on-site to be more effective.
