Regarding any rumour to do with Cuz and drugs, there are hundreds of "sources" talking about Ben. Even well known journalists have received rumours about Ben that turn out to be false. You shouldn't insinuate that Ben had a relapse because of one of those many sources may have mentioned it. There are alternative sources saying the opposite.

All I am saying is to never put too much trust into any source regarding a Ben Cousins rumour unless it comes from the man himself. There's been all kinds of rumours about Ben ever since he joined, so just be cautious about believing them too quickly.

If claims aren't public knowledge they can't be posted on here.

I believe there has been a lot left unsaid and that more than Ben's value to us as a player will be taken into consideration when his future as a Tiger is/was decided.

Yep, I dont know why the club keeps saying it will be a "purely football decision".

The decision will/has taken in all factors, not just on-field. As it should.

Broken leg. Career over.

Talk about suffering from premature posting syndrome.

Great game by Cuz yet again 26 disposals, 73% efficiency & theres no reason why he shouldnt be given another 1 year deal

Cousins to find out on monday his future with Richmond

According to an article on the foxsports web site - Before the match, Tigers coach Damien Hardwick revealed the club will let Ben Cousins know about his AFL future on Monday.

Only watched the last quarter and a half. Half to say the only time I thought someone from RFC looked like they were really trying was when Cuz had the ball.

He is still a very good player.

Well after today, the only scenario can be that you will play for us next year won't you Ben? Please pretty please

Please let him play again, he is a champion.

We've already got 15 or so kids with less than 50 games in the team. Cousins is all class and runs his heart out for the yellow and black every week. His passion for the game and visibly great attitude on game day is fantastic for our club.

With Cuz on the team, you know we'll always have at least one players who'll be running his guts out until the final siren's gone.

He had the last kick of the game, running through the midfield, because of his tremendous gut-running.

Please keep him!

Not sure PRE or the Richmond Media Manager could survive it.

On purely footballing reasons, he should be retained. His class really does stand out.

Whether footballing reasons are enough is the key.

I would be extremely disappointed if he is not retained. easily in our best 22 (probably in our best 5 at the moment), and will be next year as well.
