Took two kids to watch training at Punt Rd this morning and to hopefully get some autographs when training was over.
The players are usually very good signing autographs and allowing photos to be taken at the end of training just before they go back into the rooms.
There was a crowd of about 50 people watching training today and Cuz wasnt with the main group. He just did what he wanted and just walked around thats fair enough as obviously hes on a modified training program.
I hope that Cuz realises that this may be his last year playing footy and he should take some time to talk to or at least acknowledge the supporters.
The only time Cuz would do anything in a hurry was to run to and from the rooms. He just ignored the half a dozen kids that were waiting along the fence for autographs and really didnt give a rats.
If Cuz expects us to support him as we do he should at least give some time to the kids that line the fence waiting to get a pic or an autograph. After all its us the supporters that hold the players up as stars and its not too much to ask of them to give a moment of their time by signing an autograph or at least smile at them.

That's life.

these guys cannot win

if he was smiling, he'd be abused for not being upset after the massive loss to the pies

No. Game has gone past him. Sad but thats life.
Tell the kids we have someone better. His name is Dustin Martin.

BEN Cousins' explosive tell-all documentary is set for a primetime screening.

Sources say all networks were in talks to show the graphic program, which details Tigers star Cousins' drug spiral and healing.

But Seven, offering to broadcast the doco mid-week, over two nights, in primetime, is set to seal the deal this week.

The news will add fuel to speculation that Cousins won't play on next season as Richmond has insisted in the past the documentary could not screen while the star was a Tiger.

The documentary is said to be a raw and chilling account of Cousins' substance abuse and road to recovery.

It also features his off-field passions like skydiving.

Television executives who have seen the doco say it is profound and destined to win awards.

Richmond Football Club has said it does not want the documentary screened during the 2010 season.

Late on Saturday, music boss Michael Gudinski, executive producer of the doco, said no deal has been signed.

Mr Gudinski said Cousins is still working on the as-yet unfinished doco.

Seven would not comment.

It's starting to look more and more like this will be the final season. Pity.

I like the clubs stance. If you want footy, good, put your head down and shut up.
If you want Media street, see you later, thank you but no thanks.
Couldnt bear the *smile* storm during pre season if it goes ahead it would be a MASSIVE distraction for all players and coaches having to fend off another media storm.
This is not what we need "going forward".

He's playing good footy right now. One more year would be good for all.

played well today but i think Total Tiger might be right.

btw, congrats T74 on 10000 posts.

cuz better get another year. his playing great but what i realy want him for is his teaching. anyone see him walking the interchange with dusty, revin him up and giving him advice. priceless

he was great today, sets up his team mate beautifully, some of the best no-look hand passes from a tiger since matthew knights was in his prime.

make no mistake, we would not have won today without him. woo cuz! :clap

We're not heading for the 8 next season so 1 more year of Cuz would benefit.

Odd statement? Firstly, with Cotch and Foley in that team, and improvement from the likes of Astbury, Browne, Vickery, Griffiths and Nason, we should challenge for the 8. Secondly, what would this have to do with the Cuz decision?

I'd re-sign him because he is in our best 6-8. Simple decision

I doubt we'd be strong enough for the 8 next season when there's a lot more improvement and development still needed.

Dimma targetted 2012 as the year to start scraping for the finals and I doubt Cuz will last that long.

As next season should be like this season, it's best we sign Cuz for 1 more year to keep the kids pumped up.
