Hard to disagree with the "Ben's gone" theme BUT Momenetai is a lawyer and he does have a legal point ie if Ben fronts the AFL hearing and states his hospitalisation in the US was because of depression, how does anybody prove otherwise?
With the privacy provisions regarding medical records in place, I'm not sure the AFL would have the gumption to suspend him and face the possible legal challenges. If he wasn't charged with "disrepute" before the latest Perth incident AND all the Perth charges are dropped AND the US records aren't available, how can any charge be legally sustained ?
Mind you, they might test him the day he appears AND then all bets are off :
