but speaking of memberships, is the club offering the 3 game membership this year? i have a mate who follows richmond, but procrastinates when it comes to attending games... his 40th birthday is next month, so i thought it would be a good idea to buy one for him.

Click on this link for the 3 game membership with info (Tiger Insider) great value and an excellent pressie!!!

first game's membership tent is usually good for 2 or 3000 sig-ups.

absolutely Evo, can u imagine if we knock off the blues that would further enhance the numbers on our way to 50K....

yep will call it now, if we beat the Blues, round 1 then we will get 50,000

Hell, aim for 50,000 and get 48,000 and it's still the best membership numbers we have had ever

and thats after 15th in '10

Agree. That number is huge. 50k for a side with a track record like ours is amazing. It's hard not to think we can be a powerhouse with sucess.

The loyalty of the long suffering Richmond fan is amazing. Reckon the biggest intake we will get moving forward will be people over 40 who remember the glory years but dropped off. There would be thousands of those people.

Only 2 totals to pass before a new record is set

2010 42007 &
2009 46206 (Cuz year)

Looking at the figures for the past few years we sell about 6000 - 9000 memberships between now and the end of counting.
9k would be brilliant! If we get closeto the 50k mark expect a push from the membership department with something special on offer for member 50,000. Round one could be the making of a milestone for the RFC.

Right on tommy, think we'll be between 48K and 50K by June 30th....
Good idea if we r nearing the 50K mark that would be another good marketing tool...

Gold Coast- 11,405 on the 10/3/11. 11,753 on the 21/3/11. This must be a worry for the AFL.

Richmond- 37,152 on the 10/3/11.

for their first season, 11k ain't bad IMO

Yeah, it is hard to say, but I would have thought that was an OK figure.

Problem will be if the onfield performances are not there quickly enough, how to maintain the interest.

Pretty decent effort considering our track record, & the fact round 1 is yet to kick off.

My Collingwood nephew is amazed with our membership number considering our last 30 years.

Watch the 40000 mark be shattered if we knock off Carltank on Thursday night.

Resilient. Nothing more can describe the Richmond Member. Just wish more supporters would become members. Hitting 50k this year would something very special.

I can't see it getting any better. Won't be many converts from League as long as the Titans are in town and most AFL fans who move here already have a team. A few of those numbers are members of other teams going along to see live football. That may or may not be sustained once the novelty wears off. I'll say it again, the Gold Coast is a sporting graveyard.
