We can't draft in the 1st place then to rub shiit into our faces we turn defenders into Fowards, forwards into defenders, centre men into wingers and the list goes on.
No wonder the kids turn out duds because you cant turn Shearer into a keeper or Messi into a defender.
It just dosent happen.

We saw the result of the draft for talent trade for needs philosophy last night. The Tom Brown over Van Rooyen pick was just horrible. We haven't invested any draft capital in finding a key forward other than CCJ who was a spud anyway.

Ryan isn't a mobile forward and the legend Jack has gotten old. We have zero key forwards creating movement or competing down the line. Essendon intercepted marked at will last night.

With Lynch down and Ryan more a ruck than a marking tall forward, we must try another key target - Bauer or even Biggy.

Can’t have Jack trying to be that solitary key target. Plus persevere with Cumberland as a mid sized forward - must have players who can score goals.

Like Cumbo? I’ve pushed this kid all season for this exact reason - Jack our only natural forward last night - it’s frustrating reading posts like this now!
