Without lynch

We will have a foward line
Longmire wouldn't had time to plan against.
This has 2017 WC similarities about it.

Riewoldt, Ryan, Cumberland, Bolton, Mansell, Dusty with Clarke and MJ floating through there should do the job.

Pity re timing with Lynch as Sydneyee would be scrambling for a match up given the issues with both McCartins out.

With a thread title “Without Lynch” I was hoping it was gunna be about Wierd Al doing a parody of Eminem’s “Without me”.

“It feels so empty without Lynch, na na na na nananana na na na na”.

No. He is blossoming into a AA.
Let's get creative.
Balta is learning his craft as a poor man's Rance.
He is the complete antithesis of all things forward.
Please... no.

I don't agree, I think he has shown plenty of potential as a forward and this time he would be the main man instead of the third, which is much more challenging.

The way I look at it is you can train a gorilla to be a key defender, every single team has key defenders, forwards are much harder to find. Miller could hold down key back for us but if we ask him to be Lynch we are stuffed. Balta on the other hand could be anything up forward.

I don't think Noah thinks like a forward. Totally agree though about forwards being much harder to find, hence my dismay when we moved Daniel back. Gained a good half-back, but lost a creative quick thinking team-oriented forward. Also lost a good half-back when Shorty lost his mojo.
Swinging players from one end of the ground to the other smacks of desperation. The best teams are the settled teams.
We didn't make these wild changes in our best years.

I thought Balta would be a great forward as well, but his been exceptional in the back half. IMO he’s been our best defender behind Rioli. His grown an ability to intercept mark now which is huge. I think we keep the two Noah’s at either end.

I can remember Jackmond playing back and struggling. Also Rancey playing forward and stinking it up. Champions are craftsmen and the skills are subtle. Players train for their roles for years.
Forwards can sometimes go back with success, but let's face it, it is a much easier gig.

There are no actual forwards in our forward line. Jack and then none…

Dusty, Cotch, Jack Graham, Mansell (!), Prestia, Pickett - unbelievable. No wonder it aint working
Either washed up mids, or a neve gunna be.
Jack Graham should be still running through the guts, Pickett wing. Get Cumbo and Baur in

When do we just say *smile* this and plonk Balta at CHF and have him as a forward. We have Young to go back and worst comes to worst you chuck Balta back if needed.

Forward line is an absolute joke bar Dusty.

Whilst our personnel up forward and structure is a big issue, I reckon our system of movement into it and our incredibly poor execution as well, are both equally as big. Triple whammy.

The poor bastard has a broken foot because we couldn't hit him lace out to save ourselves. He needs to dislocate a arm to mark the ball.
Our kicking inside 50 is abysmal

Dunno if this is right or not, but I’m hearing he’s out for another 8-9 weeks still.

Season is over so if that 8-9 is on the mark, then not sure there’s much point bringing him back.

If thats the case Reddders then he goes into mothballs for the rest of the year along with Gibaus and possibly Smith.

Capuano Tarrant.

LTI list open up a couple more mid season picks if allowed to.

Might be worth milking the system now the season is rooted if we can get away with it and try turn over 2-3 extra players to look at.

He won't be back this year especially now we are out of contention.
Out of all the players on our list we lose the most important.
