I went for Malthouse simply becuase I think we have a better chance of fixing the culture around the club with a proven hard task master.

In saying that though, I am choosing to ignore the off field culture issues both WCE and the Pies have had.

Wouldn't Williams do that as well?

Possibly, but I lost a fair bit of respect for Williams with the whole neck tie hanging statement he made after the GF win.

I think he copped it from the bloke above him big time and the emotion of the outcome, well, he just let it fly.
I can forgive him for that.

In fact, maybe someone with a bit of emotion/passion/heart is what we need instead of the dweebs of coaches these days moving magnets around on a white-board and being all 'calm'.

Plus, I liked Williams giving the Port boys an absolute flogging after their debacle in Darwin last week...

P.S:
I voted for Hardwick/Williams.
I think both can get pretty nasty which I think what is required.

Not enough options, can you add, Hird, Collins & Cameron.

Agree, do you know if Andy Collins is really a possible GPB. Think he'd be good get, but perhaps not ahead of a couple of others, especially Williams!
