Where does it say that.
I think he’s confused “overlooked draft prospect” as him being overlooked by us.

“He’s up against country footballer Kaelan Bradtke, who starred at Corowa in 2022, and overlooked draft prospect Luke Teal for the spot at Richmond.”

Julius says he came in 3rd in the sprint. If we do recruit him, I just want him to do a Stengle against the Pussies.
That's exactly what I was thinking the other day. The Pussies got Stengle and turned him into an AA and a premiership player. Let's do the same with Narkle.

This Narkle came third in the 2km has been thrown up a lot

I am a bit confused here. Wasn't there two groups for the 2km. The first for the fit endurance smalls, which Taranto won. The other for the not as fit smalls and talls which Gibcus won and Narkle came 3rd??

So, guessing here, overall Narkle came 33rd

The Pussies didnt turn him into an AA player its more Stengle finally got his act into gear and took his career seriously and with 2 big talented players like Hawkins & Cameron he was the perfect foil at their feet. Narkle was not able to do that in his time there even though he is a year older and more in tune with the cats set up after 6 -7 years.

Not sure what position Narkle would play at Richmond with limited tank and with players like
Cumberland , Bolton , Martin , MRj occupying the small foward roles and youngsters in Campbell , Clarke , Green & Smith just being drafted.

But if the coaches see him as adding value then they would know best

Its says Gibcus won the second group with the 5th fastest time of the day (i.e both groups) so depending on how close he was to Gibcus and how close every one else finished together he could be Top ten. Without the times it's how long is a piece of string...

I dont know anything about bratke?

But ive always liked narkle. Has upside and good cheap midfield depth with experience.

Do i recall correctly he was destroying us in the first half of the 19 prelim? Thats a decent cv for a ssp imo

And you cant have too many noongars on a list

Who’s to say Narkle won’t get his act together and crumb at feet of Jack and Lynchy? Similarities are starting to stack up - I like it even more.

Narkle is noongar? They’re warriors - good to know.

Narkles picketts krakeours kicketts

$hai, Buddy, barry cable, peter matera, chris lewis, stephen michael, syd jackson, polly farmer, jeff farmer, nicky winmar, etc.

Given the Noongar population isnt much bigger than Torquay,

Its a superb over-representation.

*apology for any geographic/cultural errors. Im assuming if your black and you come from a footy club ending in 'up', youre noongar

Well we' might take 2 of em if Gibcus is out long term ......hopefully not :nono
Even if it’s a 12 week hammy injury that brings him back for rd 5 (presumably in the VFL) so I doubt he,ll put on the LTIL.

I was working on the theory of a serious knee injury before it was confirmed to be a hamstring.

Mention of proud noongar men and their connect with football might easily have included reference to one Sydney Stack.
While his difficulty in living up to our expectations has been overdone on this site, his skill as a footballer at his best, as well as his love of country remain absolutely clear.
Syd has in fact achieved a lot for which he should be extremely proud, and again I’d be more than happy to see him back at the Tigers in the not to distant future.
