Can't see George, Butler or Rioli moving out of the forward half now, there all neally as certain as Jack if imagine, the interesting one will be if both Caddy and Townsend play forward together ?
The only thing saving George right now is his body size, cos is aint his form or impact because he isnt having any, and hasnt for the past 3 weeks.
Short got dropped for a lesser run of ineffective form so the same should apply to George.

Personally Bolton would be the replacement for JC.
Shai didn't dominate in the VFL like Lloyd did yesterday but he worked very hard to bring others into the game and pulled off a ripper tackle.

But risky for such a big game. St K will require four quarters of intensity to beat and Castagna has been part of a winning formula all year.

Tend to agree. Bolton did only manage 9 disposals in total but 5 clangers in his last two games. Was definitely struggling. Also had only 58% and 68% of game time so maybe he doesn't have the required stamina at AFL level yet. There's not really a ready replacement for Castagna at this stage. Only possibility would be to change the game style to allow bringing in someone like Lloyd but that's inlikely at this stage of the season imo.

I am in two minds on this..
if Castagna gets dropped, does he get back in ? I think longer term that Bolton is a better option, but Castagna sheer unpredictability makes it a difficult decision to drop him.
On his output from the last few weeks I think he has to go. Butler/Rioli are locks.....
One thing that may happen is if Rioli/Butler need a rest prior to Finals...I have noticed that Rioli has looked a little proppy at times...2 weeks off may be a good primer for him coming into finals..
